Psalms 145
1 “A hymn of praise by David.” I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Ko e Saame ʻoe fakamālō ʻa Tevita. Te u fakahikihiki koe, ko hoku ʻOtua, ko e tuʻi; pea te u fakafetaʻi ki ho huafa ʻo lauikuonga pea taʻengata.
2 Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
Te u fakafetaʻi kiate koe ʻi he ʻaho kotoa pē; pea te u fakamālō ki ho huafa ʻo lauikuonga pea taʻengata.
3 Great is the Lord, and greatly praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
ʻOku lahi ʻa Sihova, pea ʻoku ngali ke faʻa fakamālō kiate ia; pea ko hono lahi ʻoku taʻefaʻaʻiloʻi.
4 One generation shall praise thy works to the other, and thy mighty acts shall they declare.
ʻE fakamālō ʻae toʻutangata ʻe taha ki hoʻo ngaahi ngāue ʻo aʻu ki he taha, pea tenau fakahā hoʻo ngaahi ngāue lahi.
5 On the majestic glory of thy excellence, and on thy wondrous deeds will I meditate.
Te u lea ki hono ongoongolelei lahi ʻo hoʻo ʻafio, pea mo hoʻo ngaahi ngāue fakaofo.
6 And of the might of thy terrible acts shall men converse: and thy greatness will I relate.
Pea ʻe lea [ʻae ]kakai ki hono mālohi ʻo hoʻo ngaahi ngāue fakailifia: pea te u fakahā hoʻo māfimafi.
7 The memorial of thy abundant goodness shall they loudly proclaim, and they shall sing joyfully of thy righteousness.
Tenau faʻa fakahā ʻae fakamanatu ʻo hoʻo ʻulungāanga lelei lahi, pea tenau hiva ʻaki hoʻo māʻoniʻoni.
8 Gracious and merciful is the Lord, long-suffering, and great in kindness.
ʻOku angalelei ʻa Sihova, pea fonu ʻi he manavaʻofa; ʻoku tōʻohi hono houhau, pea ʻoku lahi ʻa ʻene ʻaloʻofa.
9 The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are over all his works.
ʻOku angalelei ʻa Sihova ki he kakai kotoa pē: pea ʻoku kāpui ʻene ngāue kotoa pē ʻe heʻene ngaahi ʻaloʻofa ongongofua.
10 All thy works shall thank thee, O Lord; and thy pious servants shall bless thee.
ʻE Sihova, ʻe fakamālō kiate koe ʻa hoʻo ngaahi ngāue kotoa pē; pea ʻe fakafetaʻi kiate koe ʻa hoʻo kakai māʻoniʻoni.
11 Of the glory of thy kingdom shall they converse, and of thy might shall they speak:
Tenau lea ki he nāunau ʻo ho puleʻanga, pea talanoa ki hoʻo māfimafi;
12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
Ke fakaʻilo ki he ngaahi foha ʻoe tangata ʻene ngaahi ngāue lahi, pea mo e ongoongolelei lahi ʻo hono puleʻanga.
13 Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all eternities, and thy dominion [subsisteth] throughout all generations.
Ko ho puleʻanga ko e puleʻanga taʻengata, pea ko hoʻo pule ʻoku tolonga ia ʻi he ngaahi toʻutangata kotoa pē.
14 The Lord upholdeth all who are falling, and raiseth up all those who are bowed down.
ʻOku poupou hake ʻe Sihova ʻakinautolu kotoa pē kuo hinga, pea ʻoku ne fokotuʻu ʻakinautolu kotoa pē kuo mapelu ki lalo.
15 The eyes of all wait hopefully upon thee, and thou givest them their food in its due season.
ʻOku hanga ʻae ngaahi mata kotoa pē kiate koe; pea ʻoku ke foaki ʻenau meʻakai ʻi he feituʻulaʻā totonu.
16 Thou openest thy hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
ʻOku ke mafola ho nima, mo fakamākona ʻae holi ʻae meʻa moʻui kotoa pē.
17 Righteous is the Lord in all his ways, and beneficent in all his works.
ʻOku angatonu ʻa Sihova ʻi hono hala kotoa pē, pea māʻoniʻoni ʻi heʻene ngaahi ngāue kotoa pē.
18 The Lord is nigh unto all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
ʻOku ofi ʻa Sihova kiate kinautolu kotoa pē kuo ui ki heʻene ʻafio, kiate kinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku nau ui kiate ia ʻi he moʻoni.
19 The desire of those who fear him will he fulfill, and their cry will he hear, and save them.
Te ne fai ki he holi ʻanautolu ʻoku manavahē kiate ia: ʻe fanongo foki ia ki heʻenau tangi, pea te ne fakamoʻui ʻakinautolu.
20 The Lord preserveth all those who love him; but all the wicked will he destroy.
ʻOku fakamoʻui ʻe Sihova ʻakinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku nau ʻofa kiate ia: ka ko e angakovi kotoa pē te ne fakaʻauha.
21 The praise of the Lord shall my mouth speak: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
ʻE lea ʻaki ʻe hoku ngutu ʻae fakamālō kia Sihova: pea tuku ke fakafetaʻi ʻae kakano kotoa pē ki hono huafa māʻoniʻoni ʻo lauikuonga pea taʻengata.
