Psalms 145
1 “A hymn of praise by David.” I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Nitakutukuza wewe, Mungu wangu, Mfalme; nitalihimidi jina lako milele na milele.
2 Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
Kila siku nitakuhimidi; nitalisifu jina lako milele na milele.
3 Great is the Lord, and greatly praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
Yahwe ndiye mkuu na wakusifiwa sana; ukuu wake hauchunguziki.
4 One generation shall praise thy works to the other, and thy mighty acts shall they declare.
Kizazi kimoja kitayasifu matendo yako kwa kizazi kijacho na kitatangaza matendo yako makuu.
5 On the majestic glory of thy excellence, and on thy wondrous deeds will I meditate.
Nitaitafakari fahari ya utukufu wa adhama yako na matendo yako ajabu.
6 And of the might of thy terrible acts shall men converse: and thy greatness will I relate.
Watanena juu ya nguvu ya kazi zako za kutisha, nami nitatangaza ukuu wako.
7 The memorial of thy abundant goodness shall they loudly proclaim, and they shall sing joyfully of thy righteousness.
Nao watatangaza wingi wa wema wako, na wataimba kuhusu haki yako.
8 Gracious and merciful is the Lord, long-suffering, and great in kindness.
Yahwe ni wa neema na huruma, si mwepesi wa hasira na mwingi katika uaminifu wa agano lake.
9 The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are over all his works.
Yahwe ni mwema kwa wote; huruma zake zi juu ya kazi zake zote.
10 All thy works shall thank thee, O Lord; and thy pious servants shall bless thee.
Vyote ulivyo viumba vitakushukuru wewe, Yahwe; waaminifu wako watakutukuza wewe.
11 Of the glory of thy kingdom shall they converse, and of thy might shall they speak:
Waaminifu wako watanena juu ya utukufu wa ufalme wako, na watahubiri juu ya nguvu zako.
12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
Watayafanya matendo makuu ya Mungu ya julikane na wanadamu na utukufu wa fahari ya ufalme wake.
13 Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all eternities, and thy dominion [subsisteth] throughout all generations.
Ufalme wako ni wa milele, na mamlaka yako ya dumu kizazi hata kizazi.
14 The Lord upholdeth all who are falling, and raiseth up all those who are bowed down.
Yahwe huwategemeza wote waangukao na huwainua wote walioinama chini.
15 The eyes of all wait hopefully upon thee, and thou givest them their food in its due season.
Macho ya wote yanakungoja wewe; nawe huwapa chakula chao kwa wakati sahihi.
16 Thou openest thy hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
Huufungua mkono wako na hukidhi haja ya kila kiumbe hai.
17 Righteous is the Lord in all his ways, and beneficent in all his works.
Yahwe ni mwenye haki katika njia zake zote na neema katika yote afanyayo.
18 The Lord is nigh unto all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
Yahwe yu karibu na wote wamwitao, wale wamwitao yeye katika uaminifu.
19 The desire of those who fear him will he fulfill, and their cry will he hear, and save them.
Hutimiza haja za wale wanao mheshimu yeye; husikia kilio chao na kuwaokoa.
20 The Lord preserveth all those who love him; but all the wicked will he destroy.
Yahwe huwalinda wale wampendao, lakini atawaangamiza waovu wote.
21 The praise of the Lord shall my mouth speak: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
Kinywa changu kitazinena sifa za Yahwe; wanadamu wote na walitukuze jina lake takatifu milele na milele.
