Psalms 145
1 “A hymn of praise by David.” I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
੧ਉਸਤਤ: ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਹੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਜੁੱਗੋ-ਜੁੱਗ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖਾਂਗਾ,
2 Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
੨ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਿਨੋ ਦਿਨ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਜੁੱਗੋ-ਜੁੱਗ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ!
3 Great is the Lord, and greatly praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
੩ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤ ਉਸਤਤ ਜੋਗ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਨਤਾ ਅਗੰਮ ਹੈ।
4 One generation shall praise thy works to the other, and thy mighty acts shall they declare.
੪ਇੱਕ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੂਜੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਸ ਸੁਣਾਏਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਕੁਦਰਤਾਂ ਦੱਸਣਗੇ।
5 On the majestic glory of thy excellence, and on thy wondrous deeds will I meditate.
੫ਉਹ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੇਜਵਾਨ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ ।
6 And of the might of thy terrible acts shall men converse: and thy greatness will I relate.
੬ਓਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਦਾ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਹਾਨਤਾ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
7 The memorial of thy abundant goodness shall they loudly proclaim, and they shall sing joyfully of thy righteousness.
੭ਓਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਲਿਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਗਰਮ ਜੋਸ਼ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਜੈਕਾਰਾ ਗਜਾਉਣਗੇ।
8 Gracious and merciful is the Lord, long-suffering, and great in kindness.
੮ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਯਾਲੂ ਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾਲੂ ਹੈ, ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੀਰਜਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ।
9 The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are over all his works.
੯ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਭਲਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਹਿਮਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
10 All thy works shall thank thee, O Lord; and thy pious servants shall bless thee.
੧੦ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਤੇਰਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖਣਗੇ।
11 Of the glory of thy kingdom shall they converse, and of thy might shall they speak:
੧੧ਓਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਦਾ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ,
12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
੧੨ਕਿ ਓਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਕੁਦਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਗਟ ਕਰਨ, ਨਾਲੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਦੇ ਤੇਜਵਾਨ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਨੂੰ।
13 Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all eternities, and thy dominion [subsisteth] throughout all generations.
੧੩ਤੇਰੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਅਨਾਦੀ ਤੇ ਅਨੰਤ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਰਾਜ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਤੱਕ।
14 The Lord upholdeth all who are falling, and raiseth up all those who are bowed down.
੧੪ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਝੁਕਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
15 The eyes of all wait hopefully upon thee, and thou givest them their food in its due season.
੧੫ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਵੱਲ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਣ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
16 Thou openest thy hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
੧੬ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
17 Righteous is the Lord in all his ways, and beneficent in all his works.
੧੭ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਮੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਯਾਵਾਨ ਹੈ।
18 The Lord is nigh unto all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
੧੮ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹਾਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਨਾਲ ਪੁਕਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
19 The desire of those who fear him will he fulfill, and their cry will he hear, and save them.
੧੯ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੈਅ ਮੰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਿਆ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਸੁਣੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ।
20 The Lord preserveth all those who love him; but all the wicked will he destroy.
੨੦ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
21 The praise of the Lord shall my mouth speak: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
੨੧ਮੇਰਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੇ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਸ਼ਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਜੁੱਗੋ-ਜੁੱਗ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖਣ!
