Psalms 145
1 “A hymn of praise by David.” I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
দাউদের প্রশংসাগীত। হে আমার ঈশ্বর, আমার রাজা, আমি তোমাকে মহিমান্বিত করব; চিরকাল আমি তোমার নামের প্রশংসা করব।
2 Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
প্রতিদিন আমি প্রশংসা করব আর চিরকাল তোমার নামের উচ্চপ্রশংসা করব।
3 Great is the Lord, and greatly praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
সদাপ্রভু মহান ও অতীব প্রশংসার যোগ্য; কেউ তাঁর মহানতার পরিমাপ করতে পারে না।
4 One generation shall praise thy works to the other, and thy mighty acts shall they declare.
এক প্রজন্ম তাদের সন্তানসন্ততিদের কাছে তোমার কাজের প্রশংসা করবে; আর তোমার পরাক্রমী কাজকর্ম বর্ণনা করবে।
5 On the majestic glory of thy excellence, and on thy wondrous deeds will I meditate.
তারা তোমার মহিমার গৌরব ও প্রভা ঘোষণা করবে আর আমি তোমার আশ্চর্য কাজ ধ্যান করব।
6 And of the might of thy terrible acts shall men converse: and thy greatness will I relate.
আর লোকে তোমার ভয়াবহ কাজের কথা বলবে, আর আমি তোমার মহিমা বর্ণনা করব।
7 The memorial of thy abundant goodness shall they loudly proclaim, and they shall sing joyfully of thy righteousness.
তারা তোমার অজস্র ধার্মিকতা প্রচার করবে, আর মহানন্দে তোমার ন্যায়পরায়ণতার বিষয়ে গান করবে।
8 Gracious and merciful is the Lord, long-suffering, and great in kindness.
সদাপ্রভু কৃপাময় ও স্নেহশীল, ক্রোধে ধীর ও দয়াতে মহান।
9 The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are over all his works.
সদাপ্রভু সকলের প্রতি মঙ্গলময়; নিজের সব সৃষ্টির প্রতি তাঁর করুণা অপার।
10 All thy works shall thank thee, O Lord; and thy pious servants shall bless thee.
হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার সব কাজকর্ম তোমার প্রশংসা করে; তোমার বিশ্বস্ত লোকেরা তোমার উচ্চপ্রশংসা করে।
11 Of the glory of thy kingdom shall they converse, and of thy might shall they speak:
তোমার রাজ্যের মহিমা তারা প্রচার করে, আর তোমার পরাক্রমের কথা বলে,
12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
যেন সব মানুষ তোমার পরাক্রমী কাজকর্ম আর তোমার রাজ্যের অপরূপ প্রতাপের কথা জানতে পারে।
13 Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all eternities, and thy dominion [subsisteth] throughout all generations.
তোমার রাজত্ব অনন্তকালস্থায়ী রাজত্ব, আর তোমার আধিপত্য বংশপরম্পরায় স্থায়ী। সদাপ্রভু তাঁর সব প্রতিশ্রুতিতে অবিচল, এবং তিনি যা করেন সবকিছুতেই নির্ভরযোগ্য।
14 The Lord upholdeth all who are falling, and raiseth up all those who are bowed down.
যারা পতনের সম্মুখীন, সদাপ্রভু তাদের সবাইকে ধরে রাখেন আর যারা অবনত তাদের সবাইকে তিনি তুলে ধরেন।
15 The eyes of all wait hopefully upon thee, and thou givest them their food in its due season.
সবার চোখ তোমার দিকে তাকিয়ে থাকে, আর যথাসময়ে তুমি তাদের খাবার জোগাও।
16 Thou openest thy hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
তুমি তোমার হাত উন্মুক্ত করো, আর সব জীবন্ত প্রাণীর অভিলাষ পূর্ণ করো।
17 Righteous is the Lord in all his ways, and beneficent in all his works.
সদাপ্রভু তাঁর সব কাজে ন্যায়পরায়ণ আর যা করেন সবকিছুতেই বিশ্বস্ত।
18 The Lord is nigh unto all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
সদাপ্রভু তাদের সবার কাছে আছেন যারা তাঁকে ডাকে, সবার কাছে আছেন যারা তাঁকে সত্যে আহ্বান করে।
19 The desire of those who fear him will he fulfill, and their cry will he hear, and save them.
যারা তাঁকে সম্ভ্রম করে তিনি তাদের আকাঙ্ক্ষা পূর্ণ করেন; তিনি তাদের কান্না শোনেন আর তাদের রক্ষা করেন।
20 The Lord preserveth all those who love him; but all the wicked will he destroy.
যারা তাঁকে ভালোবাসে, তিনি তাদের প্রতি দৃষ্টি রাখেন, কিন্তু দুষ্টদের সবাইকে তিনি ধ্বংস করবেন।
21 The praise of the Lord shall my mouth speak: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
আমার মুখ সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করবে, আর প্রত্যেকটি প্রাণী যুগে যুগে ও চিরকাল তাঁর পবিত্র নামের প্রশংসা করবে।
