< Psalms 142 >
1 “A Maskil of David, when he was in the cave. A prayer.” With my voice I cry unto the Lord: with my voice I make supplication unto the Lord.
I LIKWIRKI ngil laud ong Ieowa. Ki ngil ai i kin ngidingideki ong Ieowa.
2 I pour out before him my grief: my distress I recite before him.
I kin kasansale ong i ai apwal akan, o i padaki ong i katoutou pa i kan.
3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me—and thou knowest well my path—on the way whereon I desired to walk they had secretly laid a snare for me.
Ngen i lao luetala, kom ap pan kotin apapwali. Irail rir wiai ong ia insar eu liman al, me i kin weid ia.
4 Look to the right, and behold, yea, there is no man that recognizeth me: [every] refuge is lost to me; there is no one that careth for my soul.
I kilang ni pali maun i, ari sota, me men sauasa ia; i sota kak pitila, pwe sota me kin idok ia.
5 I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge, my portion in the land of life.
Maing Ieowa, i likwir wong komui, o potoan: Komui me ai paip, o pwais ai nan sap en me maur akan.
6 Listen unto my entreaty; for I am very miserable: deliver me from my pursuers; for they are too mighty for me.
Kom kotin mangi ai weriwer, pwe ngai meid luet; dore ia la sang me kin pakipaki ia; pwe ngai sota itar ong ir.
7 Bring forth out of prison my soul, that I may thank thy name: with me shall the righteous crown themselves, when thou wilt deal bountifully with me.
Kalua sang ngen i nan imateng, pwe i en kapinga mar omui. Me pung kan pan pokon dong ia, ma kom pan kotin sauasa ia.
