< Psalms 141 >

1 “A psalm of David.” O Lord, I call thee, hasten unto me: give ear unto my voice, when I call unto thee.
Abụ Ọma Devid. O Onyenwe anyị, ana m akpọku gị; bịakwute m ọsịịsọ. Nụrụ olu m mgbe m na-akpọku gị.
2 May my prayer be valued as incense before thee, the lifting up of my hands, as the evening offering.
Ka ekpere m bịa nʼihu gị dịka ihe na-esi isi ụtọ; ka nchili elu nke m chịlịri aka m abụọ dịrị ka aja a na-achụ nʼanyasị.
3 Set, O Lord, a watch unto my mouth: keep a guard at the door of my lips.
Nyere m aka ka m mechie ọnụ m, o Onyenwe anyị; na-echekwa egbugbere ọnụ m nche.
4 Permit not my heart to incline after any evil thing, to practise deeds in wickedness with men that are doers of wrong: and let me not eat of their dainties.
Ekwela ka obi m nwee mmasị nʼihe ọjọọ, isonye ndị na-eme ihe ọjọọ rụọ ọrụ ajọ omume niile dị iche iche; ekwela ka m soro ha rikọọ ihe ụtọ ha niile.
5 If the righteous strike me, it is a kindness; and if he reprove me, it is [as] oil poured on the head, my head shall not refuse it; for yet my prayer also [is offered] in their sufferings.
Ka onye ezi omume tie m ihe, nke a na-egosi obi ebere; ka ọ baara m mba, nke a bụ mmanụ nʼelu isi m. Isi m agaghị ajụ ya. Otu ọ dị, ekpere m na-emegide ọrụ niile nke ndị na-eme ihe ọjọọ.
6 Are their judges fallen down through means of a rock: then will they listen to my words; for they are pleasant.
A ga-esite nʼelu nkume dị elu tụda ndị na-achị ha, mgbe ahụ, ndị ajọ omume ga-amata na okwu m niile bụ eziokwu.
7 As when one cutteth in and splitteth open the earth: so are our bones scattered for the mouth of the grave. (Sheol h7585)
Ha ga-ekwu sị, “Dịka mmadụ na-egburi, na-akọgharị ala, otu a ka a ghasasịrị ọkpụkpụ anyị nʼọnụ ili.” (Sheol h7585)
8 For unto thee, O Eternal Lord, are my eyes directed; in thee do I trust: pour not out my life.
Ma olileanya m dị na gị, Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị nʼime gị ka m gbabara izere ndụ, ararala m nyefee nʼaka ọnwụ.
9 Guard me from the power of the snare which they have laid for me, and the traps of the wrong-doers.
Napụta m ka m ghara ịdaba nʼime ọnya igbudu niile nke ndị na-eme ajọ ihe siiri, sitekwa nʼọnya niile ha siiri m.
10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, altogether—while I pass safely by.
Ka ndị ajọ omume daba nʼime ụgbụ ha, ma mụ onwe m ga-agabiga na-emerụghị ahụ ọbụla.
