< Psalms 14 >
1 “To the chief musician, by David.” The worthless fool saith in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they are abominable [in their] doings, there is none that doth good.
Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi. Nzembo ya Davidi. Bazoba bamilobelaka: « Nzambe azali te. » Makanisi na bango esila kobeba, basalaka makambo ya nkele, mpe moko te asalaka bolamu.
2 The Lord looketh down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there be one intelligent, one who seeketh for God.
Wuta na Likolo, Yawe atalaka bato mpo na koluka koyeba soki ezali ata na moko oyo azali na mayele, oyo atalelaka Nzambe.
3 They are all gone aside, they are altogether become corrupt: there is none that doth good, no, not even one.
Bango nyonso babunga nzela, bango nyonso bamibebisa; moko te asalaka bolamu, ata moto moko te!
4 Is there no knowledge in all the workers of wickedness? who eat up my people as they eat bread; [while] they do not call on the Lord.
Boni, bato wana nyonso ya misala mabe bayebi eloko te? Bato baliaka bato na ngai ndenge baliaka lipa, babelelaka Yawe te!
5 There are they terrified in terror; for God is with the righteous generation:
Somo monene ekangi bango, pamba te Nzambe azali kati na bato ya sembo.
6 The counsel of the poor [though] you put to shame; because the Lord is his protection.
Bino, bato ya misala mabe, bobebisaka mabongisi ya mobola kasi Yawe azali ebombamelo na ye.
7 Oh that some one might bring the salvation of Israel out of Zion! When the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, then will Jacob be glad, and Israel will rejoice.
Tika ete lobiko ya Isalaele ebimela na Siona! Tango Yawe akobongisa bato na Ye, bakitani ya Jakobi bakosepela, mpe Isalaele ekozala na esengo.
