< Psalms 14 >
1 “To the chief musician, by David.” The worthless fool saith in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they are abominable [in their] doings, there is none that doth good.
Abụ Ọma nke dịrị onyeisi abụ. Abụ ọma Devid. Onye nzuzu na-asị nʼime obi ya, “Ọ dịghị Chineke ọbụla dị.” Ha bụ ndị ajọ omume riri ahụ, ọrụ aka ha niile bụkwa ihe arụ; ọ dịghị onye ọbụla na-eme ezi ihe.
2 The Lord looketh down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there be one intelligent, one who seeketh for God.
Onyenwe anyị sitere nʼeluigwe na-ele ụmụ mmadụ anya ịhụ ma ọ ga-achọta onye ọbụla nwere nghọta onye nke na-achọ Chineke.
3 They are all gone aside, they are altogether become corrupt: there is none that doth good, no, not even one.
Mmadụ niile ewezugala onwe ha, ha niile abụrụla ndị ajọ omume riri ahụ; ọ dịghị onye ọbụla na-eme ihe ziri ezi, ọ dịghị ọ bụladị, otu onye.
4 Is there no knowledge in all the workers of wickedness? who eat up my people as they eat bread; [while] they do not call on the Lord.
Ndị niile na-eme ajọ ihe, ha amaghị ihe? Ha na-eripịa ndị m dịka mmadụ si eri nri, ha adịghị akpọkukwa Onyenwe anyị.
5 There are they terrified in terror; for God is with the righteous generation:
Ma nʼebe ahụ ka ha nọ, nʼọnọdụ oke egwu, nʼihi na Chineke nọ nʼetiti ndị ezi omume.
6 The counsel of the poor [though] you put to shame; because the Lord is his protection.
Unu ndị ajọ omume na-emebi atụmatụ ndị ogbenye, ma Onyenwe anyị bụ ebe mgbaba ha.
7 Oh that some one might bring the salvation of Israel out of Zion! When the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, then will Jacob be glad, and Israel will rejoice.
A sịkwarị na nzọpụta Izrel ga-esi na Zayọn pụta! Mgbe Onyenwe anyị ga-akpọghachite ndị ya nʼọnọdụ ha, ka Jekọb ṅụrịa ọṅụ, ka Izrel nwekwaa obi ụtọ!
