Psalms 138

1 “By David.” I will praise thee with my whole heart: before [thee], O God, will I sing praise unto thee.

ダビデのうた われはわが心をつくしてなんぢに感謝し もろもろの神のまへにて汝をほめうたはん

2 I will bow myself down before thy holy temple, and I will thank thy name for thy kindness and for thy truth; for thou hast magnified above all thy name thy promise.

我なんぢのきよき宮にむかひて伏拝み なんぢの仁慈とまこととの故によりて聖名にかんしやせん そは汝そのみことばをもろもろの聖名にまさりて高くしたまひたればなり

3 On the day when I called didst thou answer me, and raise me up with strength in my soul.

汝わがよばはりし日にわれにこたへ わが霊魂にちからをあたへて雄々しからしめたまへり

4 All the kings of the earth will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, when they hear the promises of thy mouth.

ヱホバよ地のすべての王はなんぢに感謝せん かれらはなんぢの口のもろもろの言をききたればなり

5 And they will sing on the ways of the Lord; for great is the glory of the Lord.

かれらはヱホバのもろもろの途についてうたはん ヱホバの榮光おほいなればなり

6 For exalted is the Lord, yet doth he regard the lowly; but the proud he punisheth from afar.

ヱホバは高くましませども卑きものを顧みたまふ されど亦おごれるものを遠よりしりたまへり

7 If I should walk in the midst of distress, thou wilt revive me: against the wrath of my enemies wilt thou stretch forth thy hand, and thy right hand will save me.

縦ひわれ患難のなかを歩むとも汝われをふたたび活し その手をのばしてわが仇のいかりをふせぎ その右の手われをすくひたまふべし

8 The Lord will accomplish [all] in my behalf; O Lord, thy kindness endureth for ever: the works of thy own hands do not abandon.

ヱホバはわれに係れることを全うしたまはん ヱホバよなんぢの憐憫はとこしへにたゆることなし願くはなんぢの手のもろもろの事跡をすてたまふなかれ
