Psalms 136

1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for to eternity endureth his kindness.

Luvutudila Yave matondo bila niandi widi wumboti,

2 O give thanks unto the God of gods; for to eternity endureth his kindness.

Luvutudila Nzambi yi zinzambi matondo,

3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords; for to eternity endureth his kindness.

Luvutudila Pfumu yi bapfumu matondo,

4 To him who doth great wonders alone; for to eternity endureth his kindness.

niandi kaka, wumvanganga matsiminanga,

5 To him that made the heavens with understanding; for to eternity endureth his kindness.

niandi wuvanga diyilu mu diela diandi

6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters; for to eternity endureth his kindness.

Niandi wuyalumuna ntoto va mbata minlangu;

7 To him that made great lights; for to eternity endureth his kindness;

Niandi wuvanga kiezila kingolo

8 The sun for the rule by day; for to eternity endureth his kindness;

thangu mu diambu di yadila muini,

9 The moon and stars for the rule by night; for to eternity endureth his kindness.

ngondi ayi zimbuetete mu diambu di yadila builu,

10 To him that smote Egypt in their first-born; for to eternity endureth his kindness;

kuidi niandi bila niandi wuvvonda bana batheti mu Ezipite,

11 And brought out Israel from the midst of them; for to eternity endureth his kindness;

ayi wutotula bana ba Iseli va khatitsika basi Ezipite

12 With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm; for to eternity endureth his kindness.

mu koko ku ngolo ayi ku yalumuka,

13 To him who divided the Red Sea into parts; for to eternity endureth his kindness;

Kuidi niandi bila niandi wuvasa mbu wu mbuaki mu zindambu zizole,

14 And caused Israel to pass through the midst of it; for to eternity endureth his kindness;

15 But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea; for to eternity endureth his kindness.

vayi wulalumusa Falawo ayi masodi mandi mu mbu wu mbuaki,

16 To him who led his people through the wilderness; for to eternity endureth his kindness.

kuidi niandi bila niandi wudiatisa batu bandi mu dikanga;

17 To him who smote great kings; for to eternity endureth his kindness;

Niandi wuvonda mintinu minneni,

18 And slew mighty kings; for to eternity endureth his kindness.

ayi wuvonda mintinu mi lulendo,

19 Even Sichon the king of the Emorites; for to eternity endureth his kindness;

Sihoni, ntinu basi Amoli,

20 And 'Og the king of Bashan; for to eternity endureth his kindness;

ayi Ongi, ntinu basi Basani,

21 And gave their land as an inheritance; for to eternity endureth his kindness;

ayi wuvana zitsi ziawu banga kiuka,

22 As an inheritance unto Israel his servant; for to eternity endureth his kindness;

kiuka kuidi kisadi kiandi, Iseli,

23 Who hath in our low estate remembered us; for to eternity endureth his kindness;

kuidi niandi, mutu wowo wututebukila moyo mu kambu kueto ku luvalu,

24 And hath freed us from our assailants; for to eternity endureth his kindness;

ayi wutuvana kiphuanza mu bambeni zieto,

25 Who giveth food unto all flesh; for to eternity endureth his kindness.

ayi niandi wumvananga bidia kuidi kioso-kioso vangu,

26 O give thanks unto the God of the heavens; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
