Psalms 136
1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
याहवेह का धन्यवाद करो, क्योंकि वे भले हैं,
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
परम परमेश्वर के प्रति आभार अभिव्यक्त करो.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
उनके प्रति, जो प्रधानों के प्रधान हैं, आभार अभिव्यक्त करो:
4 To him who doth great wonders alone; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
उनके प्रति, जिनके अतिरिक्त अन्य कोई अद्भुत कार्य कर ही नहीं सकता,
5 To him that made the heavens with understanding; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
जिन्होंने अपनी सुबुद्धि से स्वर्ग का निर्माण किया,
6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
जिन्होंने जल के ऊपर पृथ्वी का विस्तार कर दिया,
7 To him that made great lights; for to eternity endureth his kindness;
जिन्होंने प्रखर प्रकाश पुंजों की रचना की,
8 The sun for the rule by day; for to eternity endureth his kindness;
दिन के प्रभुत्व के लिए सूर्य का,
9 The moon and stars for the rule by night; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
रात्रि के लिए चंद्रमा और तारों का;
10 To him that smote Egypt in their first-born; for to eternity endureth his kindness;
उन्हीं के प्रति, जिन्होंने मिस्र देश के पहलौठों की हत्या की,
11 And brought out Israel from the midst of them; for to eternity endureth his kindness;
और उनके मध्य से इस्राएल राष्ट्र को बाहर निकाल लिया,
12 With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
सशक्त भुजा और ऊंची उठी हुई बांह के द्वारा;
13 To him who divided the Red Sea into parts; for to eternity endureth his kindness;
उन्हीं के प्रति, जिन्होंने लाल सागर को विभक्त कर दिया था
14 And caused Israel to pass through the midst of it; for to eternity endureth his kindness;
और उसके मध्य की भूमि से इस्राएलियों को पार करवा दिया,
15 But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
किंतु फ़रोह और उसकी सेना को सागर ही में डुबो दिया;
16 To him who led his people through the wilderness; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
उन्हीं के प्रति, जिन्होंने अपनी प्रजा को बंजर भूमि से पार कराया;
17 To him who smote great kings; for to eternity endureth his kindness;
जिन्होंने प्रख्यात राजाओं की हत्या की,
18 And slew mighty kings; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
जिन्होंने सशक्त राजाओं का वध कर दिया,
19 Even Sichon the king of the Emorites; for to eternity endureth his kindness;
अमोरियों के राजा सीहोन का,
20 And 'Og the king of Bashan; for to eternity endureth his kindness;
बाशान के राजा ओग का,
21 And gave their land as an inheritance; for to eternity endureth his kindness;
तथा उनकी भूमि निज भाग में दे दी,
22 As an inheritance unto Israel his servant; for to eternity endureth his kindness;
अपने सेवक इस्राएल को, निज भाग में दे दी,
23 Who hath in our low estate remembered us; for to eternity endureth his kindness;
उन्हीं के प्रति, जिन्होंने हमारी दुर्दशा में हमारी सुधि ली,
24 And hath freed us from our assailants; for to eternity endureth his kindness;
और हमें हमारे शत्रुओं से मुक्त किया,
25 Who giveth food unto all flesh; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
जो सब प्राणियों के आहार का प्रबंध करते हैं,
26 O give thanks unto the God of the heavens; for to eternity endureth his kindness.
स्वर्गिक परमेश्वर के प्रति आभार अभिव्यक्त करो,
