Psalms 135
1 Hallelujah. Praise ye the name of the Lord; praise him, O ye servants of the Lord;
Halleluja. Chwalcie imię Pańskie, chwalcie słudzy Pańscy.
2 Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.
Którzy stawacie w domu Pańskim, w sieniach domu Boga naszego.
3 Hallelujah; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is lovely.
Chwalcież Pana, albowiem to Pan dobry; śpiewajcież imieniowi jego, boć jest wdzięczne.
4 For Jacob hath the Lord chosen unto himself, Israel, as his peculiar treasure.
Albowiem sobie Jakóba Pan obrał, i Izraela za własność swoję.
5 For I well know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
Jać zaiste uznaję, iż wielki jest Pan, a Pan nasz jest nad wszystkich bogów.
6 Whatsoever the Lord willeth, hath he done in the heavens, and on the earth, in the seas, and in all the deeps.
Wszystko co chce Pan, to czyni, na niebie i na ziemi, w morzu i we wszystkich przepaściach.
7 He causeth clouds to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with the rain; he bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries.
Który czyni, że występują pary od kończyn ziemi; błyskawice i dżdże przywodzi, wywodzi wiatr z skarbów swoich;
8 [He it is] who smote the first-born of Egypt, both of man and of cattle;
Który pobił pierworodztwa w Egipcie, od człowieka aż do bydlęcia.
9 Who sent signs and wonderful tokens into the midst of thee, O Egypt, against Pharaoh, and against all his servants;
Posłał znaki i cuda w pośród ciebie, Egipcie! na Faraona i na wszystkich sług jego.
10 Who smote many nations, and slew mighty kings;
Który poraził wiele narodów, a pobił królów możnych;
11 Sichon the king of the Emorites, and 'Og the king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;
Sehona, króla Amorejskiego, i Oga, króla Basańskiego, i wszystkie królestwa Chananejskie.
12 And gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance unto Israel his people.
I dał ziemię ich w dziedzictwo, w dziedzictwo Izraelowi, ludowi swemu.
13 O Lord, thy name [endureth] for ever: O Lord, thy memorial is throughout all generations.
Panie! imię twoje na wieki; Panie! pamiątka twoja od narodu do narodu.
14 For the Lord will espouse the cause of his people, and concerning his servants will he bethink himself.
Zaite Pan sądzić będzie lud swój, a nad sługami swymi zmiłuje się.
15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of the hands of men.
Ale bałwany pogańskie, srebro i złoto, są robotą rąk ludzkich.
16 Mouths they have, but they speak not; eyes they have, but they see not;
Usta mają, a nie mówią, oczy mają, a nie widzą;
17 Ears they have, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouth.
Uszy mają, a nie słyszą, ani mają tchnienia w ustach swoich.
18 Like them are those that make them, every one that trusteth in them.
Niech im podobni będą, którzy je robią, i wszyscy, którzy w nich ufają.
19 O house of Israel, bless ye the Lord; O house of Aaron, bless ye the Lord.
Domie Izraelski! błogosławcie Panu; domie Aaronowy! błogosławcie Panu.
20 O house of Levi, bless ye the Lord; ye that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.
Domie Lewiego! błogosławcie Panu, którzy się boicie Pana, błogosławcie Panu.
21 Blessed be the Lord out of Zion, even he that resideth at Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
Błogosławiony Pan z Syonu, który mieszka w Jeruzalemie. Halleluja.
