< Psalms 130 >
1 “A song of the degrees.” Out of the depths have I called thee, O Lord.
Abụ nrigo. O Onyenwe anyị, ọ bụ site nʼebe dị omimi ka m na-ebeku gị akwa.
2 Lord, listen to my voice: let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
Onyenwe anyị, nụrụ olu m. Ka ntị gị na-aṅakwa ntị nʼolu arịrịọ m, maka amara.
3 If thou, Lord, shouldst treasure up iniquities, O Lord, who would be able to stand?
O Onyenwe anyị, a sị na i detuo mmehie niile, Onyenwe anyị, onye pụrụ iguzo?
4 But with thee there is forgiveness, in order that thou mayest be feared.
Ma ọ bụ nʼaka gị ka mgbaghara mmehie dị; ime ka anyị tụọ gị egwu, ma jeere gị ozi.
5 I hope for the Lord, my soul doth hope, and for his word do I wait.
Ana m echere Onyenwe anyị, mkpụrụobi m na-echekwa ya, ọ bụ nʼokwu ya ka olileanya m dị.
6 My soul [waiteth] for the Lord, more than they that watch for the morning expect the morning.
Mkpụrụobi m na-echere Onyenwe anyị karịa ndị nche abalị na-echere chị ọbụbọ, e, karịa ndị nche abalị na-echere chị ọbụbọ.
7 Let Israel wait for the Lord; for with the Lord there is kindness, and with him is redemption in abundance;
Ndị Izrel, ka olileanya unu dịrị na Onyenwe anyị, nʼihi na ịhụnanya ya na-adịgide adịgide, nʼaka ya ka nzọpụta zuruoke dịkwa.
8 And he wilt surely redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
