Psalms 130

1 “A song of the degrees.” Out of the depths have I called thee, O Lord.

একটি আরোহণ সংগীত। হে সদাপ্রভু, আমি অতল থেকে তোমার সাহায্য চেয়েছি;

2 Lord, listen to my voice: let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

হে সদাপ্রভু, আমার কণ্ঠস্বর শোনো। আমার বিনতি প্রার্থনার প্রতি তোমার কান মনযোগী হোক।

3 If thou, Lord, shouldst treasure up iniquities, O Lord, who would be able to stand?

হে সদাপ্রভু, যদি তুমি পাপের হিসেব রাখতে, তবে প্রভু, কে বাঁচতে পারত?

4 But with thee there is forgiveness, in order that thou mayest be feared.

কিন্তু তোমার কাছে ক্ষমা আছে, যেন আমরা, সম্ভ্রমে তোমার সেবা করতে পারি।

5 I hope for the Lord, my soul doth hope, and for his word do I wait.

আমি সদাপ্রভুর প্রতীক্ষায় থাকি, আমার সমস্ত অন্তর প্রতীক্ষা করে, এবং তাঁর বাক্যে আমি আশা রাখি।

6 My soul [waiteth] for the Lord, more than they that watch for the morning expect the morning.

প্রত্যুষের জন্য প্রহরী যেমন প্রতীক্ষায় থাকে হ্যাঁ, প্রত্যুষের জন্য প্রহরী যেমন প্রতীক্ষায় থাকে, আমার প্রাণ, প্রভুর জন্য, তার থেকেও বেশি প্রতীক্ষায় থাকে।

7 Let Israel wait for the Lord; for with the Lord there is kindness, and with him is redemption in abundance;

হে ইস্রায়েল, সদাপ্রভুর উপর আশা রাখো, কারণ সদাপ্রভুর কাছে অবিচল প্রেম আছে, এবং তাঁর কাছে পূর্ণ মুক্তি আছে।

8 And he wilt surely redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

তিনি নিজেই ইস্রায়েলকে সব পাপ থেকে মুক্ত করবেন।
