< Psalms 13 >

1 “To the chief musician, a psalm of David.” How long, O Lord, wilt thou forget me continually! how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Fún adarí orin. Saamu ti Dafidi. Yóò ti pẹ́ tó, Olúwa? Ìwọ o ha gbàgbé mi títí láé? Yóò tí pẹ́ tó tí ìwọ yóò máa fi ojú rẹ pamọ́ fún mi?
2 How long shall I have to devise resolves in my soul, with grief in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy exalt himself over me?
Yóò ti pẹ́ tó tí èmi ó máa bá èrò mi jà, àti ní ojoojúmọ́ ni èmi ń ní ìbànújẹ́ ní ọkàn mi? Yóò ti pẹ́ tó tí àwọn ọ̀tá mi yóò máa borí mi?
3 Look down, answer me, O Lord my God! enlighten my eyes, that I may not sleep the sleep of death;
Wò mí kí o sì dá mi lóhùn, Olúwa Ọlọ́run mi. Fi ìmọ́lẹ̀ fún ojú mi, kí èmi ó má sún oorun ikú.
4 That my enemy may not say, I have overcome him; that my assailants may not be glad when I am moved.
Ọ̀tá mi wí pé, “Èmi ti ṣẹ́gun rẹ̀,” àwọn ọ̀tá mi yóò yọ̀ tí mo bá ṣubú.
5 But I trust in thy kindness, let my heart be glad because of thy salvation:
Ṣùgbọ́n mo gbẹ́kẹ̀lé ìfẹ́ rẹ tí kì í kùnà; ọkàn mi ń yọ̀ nínú ìgbàlà rẹ.
6 I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Èmi ó máa kọrin sí Olúwa, nítorí ó dára sí mi.
