< Psalms 13 >

1 “To the chief musician, a psalm of David.” How long, O Lord, wilt thou forget me continually! how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Rabbiyow, ilaa goormaad i illoobaysaa? Ma weligaa baa? Oo ilaa goormaad wejigaaga iga qarinaysaa?
2 How long shall I have to devise resolves in my soul, with grief in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy exalt himself over me?
Ilaa goormaan naftayda la tashanayaa, Anigoo maalinta oo dhan calool xun? Ilaa goormuu cadowgaygu iga sarraynayaa?
3 Look down, answer me, O Lord my God! enlighten my eyes, that I may not sleep the sleep of death;
Rabbiyow Ilaahayow, waxaas u fiirso, oo ii jawaab, Indhahayga iftiimi, yaanan hurdadii geerida seexanine,
4 That my enemy may not say, I have overcome him; that my assailants may not be glad when I am moved.
Waaba intaasoo cadowgaygu yidhaahdaa, Anigu isagaan ka adkaaday, Oo ay cadaawayaashaydu farxaan markii lay dhaqaajiyo.
5 But I trust in thy kindness, let my heart be glad because of thy salvation:
Laakiinse anigu waxaan isku halleeyey naxariistaada, Oo qalbigayguna wuxuu ku rayrayn doonaa badbaadintaada.
6 I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Rabbigaan u gabyi doonaa, Maxaa yeelay, wax badan oo wanaagsan buu ii sameeyey.
