Psalms 13

1 “To the chief musician, a psalm of David.” How long, O Lord, wilt thou forget me continually! how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

၁အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို အလျှင်းမမှတ်ဘဲ အဘယ်မျှ ကာလပတ်လုံးမေ့လျော့တော်မူမည်နည်း။ အဘယ်မျှကာလပတ်လုံး မျက်နှာတော်ကို ကွယ်ထား တော်မူမည်နည်း။

2 How long shall I have to devise resolves in my soul, with grief in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy exalt himself over me?

၂အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အစဉ်ဝမ်းနည်းလျက်၊ အဘယ် မျှ ကာလပတ်လုံး တွေးတောသောစိတ်ရှိရပါမည်နည်း။ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ ရန်သူသည် အဘယ်မျှ ကာလပတ်လုံး အကျွန်ုပ်ကို အုပ်စိုးရပါမည်နည်း။

3 Look down, answer me, O Lord my God! enlighten my eyes, that I may not sleep the sleep of death;

၃အကျွန်ုပ်၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်စကားကို မျက်နှာပြု၍ နားထောင်တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်မျက်စိကို လင်းစေတော်မူပါ။ သို့မဟုတ်လျှင် အသေအိပ်ပျော်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရပါမည်။

4 That my enemy may not say, I have overcome him; that my assailants may not be glad when I am moved.

၄အကျွန်ုပ်၏ရန်သူက၊ ငါနိုင်ပြီဟုဆို၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို နှောင့်ရှက်သော သူတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ်လှုပ်ရှားသည် ကို ဝမ်းမြောက်ကြပါလိမ့်မည်။

5 But I trust in thy kindness, let my heart be glad because of thy salvation:

၅အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကရုဏာတော်ကို ယုံကြည်ပါ၏။ ကယ်တင်တော်မူခြင်းအရာ၌ နှလုံးရွှင်လန်းပါလိမ့်မည်။

6 I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

၆အကျွန်ုပ်၌ ကျေးဇူးပြုတော်မူသောကြောင့် ထာဝရဘုရားကို ထောမနာသီချင်းဆိုပါမည်။
