< Psalms 128 >
1 “A song of the degrees.” Happy is every one that feareth the Lord, that walketh in his ways.
Thaburi ya Agendi Kũrathimwo nĩ mũndũ o wothe wĩtigĩrĩte Jehova, o ũcio ũgeragĩra njĩra ciake.
2 When thou eatest the labor of thy hands: [then] wilt thou be happy, and it shall be well with thee.
Nĩũkarĩĩaga maciaro ma wĩra waku; irathimo na kũgaacĩra nĩigatuĩka ciaku.
3 Thy wife is [then] as a fruitful vine in the recesses of thy house: thy children, like olive-plants round about thy table.
Mũtumia waku egũtuĩka ta mũthabibũ ũrĩa ũciaraga mũno arĩ kũu nyũmba-inĩ yaku thĩinĩ; ciana ciaku ituĩke ta thuuna cia mũtamaiyũ ithiũrũrũkĩirie metha yaku.
4 Behold, truly thus shall be blessed the man that feareth the Lord.
Ũguo nĩguo mũndũ arĩrathimagwo, ũrĩa wĩtigĩrĩte Jehova.
5 May the Lord bless thee out of Zion: and see thou the happiness of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
Jehova arokũrathimaga arĩ Zayuni matukũ mothe ma muoyo waku; ũroona kũgaacĩra kwa Jerusalemu,
6 And see thou thy children's children: may there be peace upon Israel.
