< Psalms 125 >

1 “A song of the degrees.” Those who trust in the Lord are like mount Zion, which will not he moved, which endureth for ever.
Wimbo wa kwenda juu. Wale wamtumainio Bwana ni kama mlima Sayuni, ambao hauwezi kutikisika, bali wadumu milele.
2 Jerusalem hath mountains round about her: and [so] is the Lord round about his people, from this time forth and for evermore.
Kama milima inavyozunguka Yerusalemu, ndivyo Bwana anavyowazunguka watu wake sasa na hata milele.
3 For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous: in order that the righteous may not stretch forth their hands unto wrong-doing.
Fimbo ya waovu haitadumu juu ya nchi waliopewa wenye haki, ili wenye haki wasije wakatumia mikono yao kutenda ubaya.
4 Do good, O Lord, unto the good, and to those that are upright in their hearts.
Ee Bwana, watendee mema walio wema, wale walio wanyofu wa moyo.
5 But as for those who turn aside unto their crooked ways, them will the Lord drive away with the workers of wickedness; but peace shall be upon Israel.
Bali wale wanaogeukia njia zilizopotoka, Bwana atawafukuza pamoja na watenda mabaya. Amani iwe juu ya Israeli.
