< Psalms 125 >

1 “A song of the degrees.” Those who trust in the Lord are like mount Zion, which will not he moved, which endureth for ever.
Faarfannaa ol baʼuu. Warri Waaqayyoon amanatan akka Tulluu Xiyoon kan hin raafamne, kan bara baraan jiraatu sanaa ti.
2 Jerusalem hath mountains round about her: and [so] is the Lord round about his people, from this time forth and for evermore.
Akkuma tulluuwwan Yerusaalemin marsan sana, Waaqayyo ammaa jalqabee hamma bara baraatti, saba isaa ni marsa.
3 For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous: in order that the righteous may not stretch forth their hands unto wrong-doing.
Akka qajeeltonni jalʼina hojjechuuf harka isaanii ol hin diriirfanneef, bokkuun hamootaa lafa qajeeltotaaf ixaadhaan qoodame irra hin jiraatu.
4 Do good, O Lord, unto the good, and to those that are upright in their hearts.
Yaa Waaqayyo, warra gaariif, warra garaa isaaniitiin toloota taʼaniifis waan gaarii godhi.
5 But as for those who turn aside unto their crooked ways, them will the Lord drive away with the workers of wickedness; but peace shall be upon Israel.
Warra karaa micciiramaatti garagalan garuu, Waaqayyo akkuma warra hammina hojjetan balleessu jaras ni balleessa. Nagaan Israaʼeliif haa taʼu.
