< Psalms 125 >
1 “A song of the degrees.” Those who trust in the Lord are like mount Zion, which will not he moved, which endureth for ever.
Se yon chante pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Moun ki mete konfyans yo nan Seyè a, yo tankou mòn Siyon an. Tankou l', yo p'ap janm brannen, y'ap la pou tout tan.
2 Jerusalem hath mountains round about her: and [so] is the Lord round about his people, from this time forth and for evermore.
Menm jan mòn sou rebò lavil Jerizalèm yo pwoteje lavil la, se konsa Seyè a ap pwoteje pèp li a depi koulye a ak pou tout tan.
3 For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous: in order that the righteous may not stretch forth their hands unto wrong-doing.
Non. Mechan yo p'ap gouvènen pou tout tan sou peyi ki pou moun k'ap mache dwat yo. Si se pa sa, moun k'ap mache dwat yo ka rive fè sa ki mal.
4 Do good, O Lord, unto the good, and to those that are upright in their hearts.
Seyè, aji byen avèk moun k'ap fè byen, avèk moun k'ap mennen yon lavi san repwòch.
5 But as for those who turn aside unto their crooked ways, them will the Lord drive away with the workers of wickedness; but peace shall be upon Israel.
Men, kanta pou moun ki vire do ba ou yo pou swiv chemen kwochi, se pou ou disparèt yo ansanm ak tout moun k'ap fè mechanste. Benediksyon Bondye sou pèp Izrayèl la.
