< Psalms 125 >

1 “A song of the degrees.” Those who trust in the Lord are like mount Zion, which will not he moved, which endureth for ever.
Andũ arĩa mehokete Jehova matariĩ ta Kĩrĩma gĩa Zayuni, kĩrĩa gĩtangĩenyenyeka, no gĩtũũraga nginya tene.
2 Jerusalem hath mountains round about her: and [so] is the Lord round about his people, from this time forth and for evermore.
O ta ũrĩa irĩma ithiũrũrũkĩirie Jerusalemu ũguo noguo Jehova athiũrũrũkagĩria andũ ake, kuuma rĩu nginya tene na tene.
3 For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous: in order that the righteous may not stretch forth their hands unto wrong-doing.
Mũthĩgi wa andũ arĩa aaganu ndũgũtũũra wathanaga bũrũri ũrĩa ũgaĩirwo andũ arĩa athingu, nĩguo andũ acio athingu matikae gũtambũrũkia moko mao meeke ũũru.
4 Do good, O Lord, unto the good, and to those that are upright in their hearts.
Wee Jehova, andũ arĩa ega mekaga o maũndũ mega, o acio arũngĩrĩru ngoro.
5 But as for those who turn aside unto their crooked ways, them will the Lord drive away with the workers of wickedness; but peace shall be upon Israel.
No rĩrĩ, andũ arĩa maahũkaga makagera njĩra iria njogomu-rĩ, Jehova nĩakamaingatanĩria hamwe na arĩa mekaga ũũru. Isiraeli kũrogĩa thayũ.
