Psalms 125

1 “A song of the degrees.” Those who trust in the Lord are like mount Zion, which will not he moved, which endureth for ever.

Kanto de suprenirado. Kiuj fidas la Eternulon, Tiuj estas kiel la monto Cion, Kiu ne ŝanceliĝas, sed restas eterne.

2 Jerusalem hath mountains round about her: and [so] is the Lord round about his people, from this time forth and for evermore.

Montoj estas ĉirkaŭ Jerusalem, Kaj la Eternulo ĉirkaŭas Sian popolon, De nun kaj eterne.

3 For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous: in order that the righteous may not stretch forth their hands unto wrong-doing.

Ĉar ne kuŝos la sceptro de malvirteco sur la sorto de la virtuloj; Por ke la virtuloj ne etendu siajn manojn al maljustaĵo.

4 Do good, O Lord, unto the good, and to those that are upright in their hearts.

Bonfaru, ho Eternulo, al tiuj, Kiuj estas bonaj kaj piaj per sia koro;

5 But as for those who turn aside unto their crooked ways, them will the Lord drive away with the workers of wickedness; but peace shall be upon Israel.

Sed tiujn, kiuj dekliniĝas al siaj malrektaj vojoj, La Eternulo pereigos kune kun la malbonaguloj. Paco al Izrael!
