< Psalms 124 >

1 “A song of the degrees by David.” If it had not been the Lord who was for us, so should Israel say;
Waƙar haurawa. Ta Dawuda. Da ba don Ubangiji ya kasance a gefenmu ba, bari Isra’ila yă ce,
2 If it had not been the Lord who was for us, when men rose up against us:
da ba don Ubangiji ya kasance a gefenmu ba sa’ad da aka auka mana,
3 Then would they have swallowed us up alive, when their wrath was kindled against us;
sa’ad da fushinsu ya ƙuna a kanmu, ai, da sun haɗiye mu da rai;
4 Then would the waters have overwhelmed us, the stream would have passed over our soul;
da rigyawa ta kwashe mu, da ambaliya ta rufe mu.
5 Then would have passed over our soul the presumptuous waters.
Da ruwa mai hauka ya share mu ƙaf.
6 Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us up as a prey to their teeth.
Yabo ya tabbata ga Ubangiji, wanda bai bari aka yayyage mu da haƙoransu ba.
7 Our soul is escaped like a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
Mun tsira kamar tsuntsu daga tarkon mai farauta; an tsinke tarko, muka kuwa tsira.
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.
Taimakonmu yana a sunan Ubangiji, Wanda ya yi sama da ƙasa.
