< Psalms 123 >

1 “A song of the degrees.” Unto thee do I lift up my eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
Mɔzɔha. Mewu mo dzi na wò, wò ame si ƒe fiazikpui le dziƒo.
2 Behold, as the eyes of servants are directed unto the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress: thus are our eyes directed unto the Lord our God, until he be gracious unto us.
Abe ale si kluviwo kpɔa woƒe aƒetɔ ƒe asinu kple kosiviwo ƒe ŋku nɔa woƒe aƒenɔ ƒe asinu kpɔmii ene la, nenemae míele Yehowa, míaƒe Mawu la ƒe asinu kpɔmii, va se ɖe esime wòakpɔ nublanui na mí.
3 Be gracious unto us, O Lord! be gracious unto us; for we are overburdened with contempt.
O! Yehowa, kpɔ nublanui na mí, O! Kpɔ míaƒe nublanui, elabena míenɔ te ɖe vlododo nu eteƒe didi.
4 Our soul is overburdened with the scorn of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud oppressors.
Míetsɔ dadalawo ƒe alɔmeɖeɖe gbogboawo, eye míenɔ te ɖe ɖokuiŋudzelawo ƒe vlodoame gbogboawo nu eteƒe didi.
