Psalms 122

1 “A song of the degrees by David.” I was rejoiced when they said unto me, Unto the house of the Lord let us go.

౧దావీదు రాసిన యాత్రల కీర్తన పదండి, యెహోవా మందిరానికి వెళ్దాం, అని ప్రజలు నాతో చెప్పినప్పుడు నేను సంతోషించాను.

2 Our feet are now standing within thy gates, O Jerusalem!

౨యెరూషలేమా, మా పాదాలు నీ ప్రవేశ ద్వారాల వద్ద నిలబడుతున్నాయి.

3 Jerusalem, which art built as a city wherein all associate together.

౩యెరూషలేమును కుదురైన నగరంగా కట్టారు.

4 For thither go up the tribes of the Lord, as a testimony for Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.

౪యెహోవా నామానికి కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు చెల్లించడానికి యెహోవా గోత్రాలు అక్కడికి ఎక్కిపోవాలని వారికి శాసనం ఉంది.

5 For there are placed chairs for [giving] judgment, the chairs for the house of David.—

౫నాయకులు అక్కడ సింహాసనాలపై కూర్చుంటారు. అవి దావీదు రాజవంశం సింహాసనాలు.

6 Pray ye for the peace of Jerusalem; may those that love thee prosper.

౬యెరూషలేము క్షేమంగా ఉండాలని ప్రార్థన చేయండి. యెరూషలేమా, నిన్ను ప్రేమించేవాళ్ళు వృద్ది చెందుతారు.

7 May there be peace within thy walls, prosperity within thy palaces,

౭నీ సరిహద్దులు ప్రశాంతంగా ఉండాలి. నీ పట్టణాల్లో శాంతి వర్ధిల్లుతూ ఉండాలి.

8 For the sake of my brethren and my friends, let me now speak, Peace be within thee.

౮మీకు శాంతి సమాధానాలు కలుగుతాయి, అని నా సహోదరులను, నా స్నేహితులను దీవిస్తాను.

9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, will I seek thy good.

౯మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా మందిరం కోసం, నీకు మేలు కలగడం కోసం ప్రార్థన చేస్తాను.
