< Psalms 122 >

1 “A song of the degrees by David.” I was rejoiced when they said unto me, Unto the house of the Lord let us go.
Wer ma ji wero kadhi e hekalu. Mar Daudi. Ne amor gi joma nowachona niya, “Wadhiuru e od Jehova Nyasaye.”
2 Our feet are now standing within thy gates, O Jerusalem!
Tiendewa ochungʼ e dhorangeyeni, yaye Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem, which art built as a city wherein all associate together.
Jerusalem oger ka dala ma ji odakie machiegni motenore.
4 For thither go up the tribes of the Lord, as a testimony for Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.
Kanyo e kama ogendini idho dhiye, ogendini mag Jehova Nyasaye dhi kuno, mondo opak nying Jehova Nyasaye ka giluwo chike mane omi Israel.
5 For there are placed chairs for [giving] judgment, the chairs for the house of David.—
Kanyo ema kombe loch mag ngʼado bura nitie gin kombe loch mag jood Daudi.
6 Pray ye for the peace of Jerusalem; may those that love thee prosper.
Lamuru mondo Jerusalem obed gi kwe. Lamuru niya, “Mad joma oheri bed gi kwe.
7 May there be peace within thy walls, prosperity within thy palaces,
Mad kwe yudre ei alworani, adier kwe mondo obedi ei ohinga mochieli.”
8 For the sake of my brethren and my friends, let me now speak, Peace be within thee.
Nikech owetena gi osiepena modak e iyi, awacho niya, “Jerusalem mondo obed gi kwe.”
9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, will I seek thy good.
Nikech wach od Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachwa, adwaro ni idhi maber.
