Psalms 122

1 “A song of the degrees by David.” I was rejoiced when they said unto me, Unto the house of the Lord let us go.

Nalipay ako pag-ayo sa dihang miingon (sila) kanako, “Mangadto kita sa balay ni Yahweh.”

2 Our feet are now standing within thy gates, O Jerusalem!

Jerusalem, ang among mga tiil nagtindog diha sa imong mga ganghaan!

3 Jerusalem, which art built as a city wherein all associate together.

Jerusalem, ang usa ka siyudad nga maayong pagkatukod!

4 For thither go up the tribes of the Lord, as a testimony for Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.

Motungas ang kabanayan didto sa Jerusalem—ang kabanayan ni Yahweh—ingon nga pagpamatuod alang sa Israel, aron makapasalamat sa ngalan ni Yahweh.

5 For there are placed chairs for [giving] judgment, the chairs for the house of David.—

Atua didto nahimutang ang mga trono sa paghukom, ang trono sa balay ni David.

6 Pray ye for the peace of Jerusalem; may those that love thee prosper.

Pag-ampo alang sa kalinaw sa Jerusalem! “Hinaot nga kadtong nahigugma kanimo adunay kalinaw.

7 May there be peace within thy walls, prosperity within thy palaces,

Hinaot nga adunay kalinaw diha sa mga paril nga maoy nagpanalipod kanimo, ug hinaot nga aduna silay kalinaw diha sa imong mga kota.”

8 For the sake of my brethren and my friends, let me now speak, Peace be within thee.

Alang sa kaayohan sa akong mga kaigsoonan ug sa akong mga higala ako moingon, “Hinaot nga adunay kalinaw diha kanimo.”

9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, will I seek thy good.

Alang sa kaayohan sa balay ni Yahweh nga atong Dios, mangita ako ug kaayohan alang kanimo.
