< Psalms 120 >
1 “A song of the degrees.” Unto the Lord, when I was in distress, did I call, and he hath answered me.
Nkunga wuyimbudulu mu nzila yikuendila ku nzo Yave. Nditela Yave mu ziphasi ziama ayi niandi wupheni mvutu.
2 O Lord, deliver my soul from lips of falsehood, and from a tongue of deceit.
Wuphukisa, a Yave, mu bididi bi luvunu ayi mu ludimi luidi mayuya.
3 What will [God] give unto thee? or what will he add unto thee, thou tongue of deceit?
Mbi kalenda kuvangila ayi mbi kalenda buela, ludimi luidi mayuya e?
4 Sharpened arrows of the mighty, with coals of the broom-bush.
Wela kuvana thumbudulu mu madionga ma kinuani malengulu bumboti; mu makala ma mbazu, ma nungu-tsendi,
5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
mabienga kuidi minu bu ndilembo vuandi ku Metsiseki; bu ndieti zingila mu zinzo zi ngoto zi Kedali.
6 Too long for herself hath my soul dwelt with him that hateth peace.
Mu bilumbu biwombo ndizingila va khatitsika batu bobo banlendanga ndembama.
7 I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.
Minu ndidi mutu wu ndembama; vayi minu yoluka, buna bawu beka yindula mvita.
