< Psalms 120 >

1 “A song of the degrees.” Unto the Lord, when I was in distress, did I call, and he hath answered me.
Lungkham na leh lung gim na kato tengleh Yahweh Pakai kom kalhutjin ahileh Aman kataona asangjin ahi.
2 O Lord, deliver my soul from lips of falsehood, and from a tongue of deceit.
O Yahweh Pakai in mijoubol ho a konleh milepche ho a kon in neihuhdoh'in.
3 What will [God] give unto thee? or what will he add unto thee, thou tongue of deceit?
Oh lepchena leigui mangcha ho, Elohim Pathen in nangho ipi na louvin tem? Aman nachunga engbolna ichan gei in apunsahbe dem?
4 Sharpened arrows of the mighty, with coals of the broom-bush.
Nangma thalchang hemtah a naki sunding chuleh meihol sapehpoh naki desah ding ahi.
5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
Gamlatah Meshach lah'a ka chenchu kadanave, gamlatah Kedar ponbuh a ka chenchu ka thohlel ngeije,
6 Too long for herself hath my soul dwelt with him that hateth peace.
Keima chamna deilah'a kachenhi kakhoplheh jengtai,
7 I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.
Keiman chamna kahol in, ahinlah keiman chamna thu kaseipou pouleh amahon gal bou adeijiu ve.
