Psalms 119
1 ALEPH. Happy are they whose way is perfect, who walk in the law of the Lord.

2 Happy are they who keep his testimonies, that seek him with all their heart.
A thuih ih loknawk to pakuem moe, palungthin boih hoiah anih pakrong kami loe tahamhoih.
3 They also commit no injustice; in his ways do they walk.
Nihcae loe zaehaih sah o ai; anih ih loklam ah caeh o.
4 Thou thyself hast commanded us thy precepts, that we might keep [them] diligently.
Na loklam to loktangta hoi pazui hanah kaicae khaeah nang thuih.
5 Oh that my ways were firmly directed to observe thy statutes!
Aw, na paek ih loknawk to pazui thai hanah, lam nang patuek!
6 Then would I not be made ashamed, while I look at all thy commandments.
Na paek ih loknawk boih to ka pakuem nahaeloe, azathaih ka tongh mak ai.
7 I will thank thee with uprightness of heart, when I learn thy righteous ordinances.
Katoeng na lokcaekhaih kam tuk naah, poektoenghaih hoiah nang to kang pakoeh han.
8 Thy statutes will I observe: oh forsake me not too greatly.
Nang paek ih loknawk to ka pazui han; aw kai hae na pahnawt hmah roe ah.
9 BETH. Wherewithal shall a youth keep his way pure? by guarding it according to thy word.
Kawbangmaw qoengthuem kami mah a caehhaih loklam to ciimsak thai tih? Na lok baktih toengah khosakhaih rang hoiah ni ciimsak tih.
10 With all my heart have I sought thee: oh let me not wander astray from thy commandments.
Palungthin boih hoiah nang to kang pakrong; Aw, nang paek ih loknawk hoi nam khraengsak hmah.
11 In my heart have I treasured up thy saying, in order that I may not sin against thee.
Na nuiah zaehaih ka sak han ai ah, na lok to palung thungah ka suek boeh.
12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.
Aw Angraeng, taham na hoih! Nang paek ih loknawk to na patuk ah.
13 With my lips have I related all the ordinances of thy mouth.
Na pakha thung hoi tacawt na loknawk boih to pakha hoiah ka taphong boeh.
14 On the way of thy testimonies have I been glad, as over all wealth.
Hmuenmae congca hoi angraeng parai kami baktiah, na thuih ih loknawk pongah anghoehaih ka tawnh.
15 On thy precepts will I meditate, and direct my look unto thy paths.
Na loknawk to ka poek moe, na loklamnawk doeh ka khet han.
16 In thy statutes will I seek my delight: I will not forget thy word.
Nang paek ih loknawk pongah kang hoe, na lok to ka pahnet mak ai.
17 GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant: let me live, that I may observe thy word.
Ka hing moe, na lok pazui thai hanah, na tamna khaeah kahoih hmuen to sah ah.
18 Open thou my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
Na kaalok thungah dawnrai hmuennawk ka hnuk thai hanah, ka mik hae na paong pae ah.
19 A stranger am I on the earth: hide not from me thy commandments.
Long ah angvin ah ka oh; nang paek ih loknawk to kai khae hoi hawk ving hmah.
20 My soul is broken from longing for thy ordinances at all times.
Na lokcaekhaih ka poek loiah ka hinghaih amro boeh.
21 Thou hast rebuked the accursed proud, who go erringly astray from thy commandments.
Na lokpaekhaihnawk hoiah amkhraeng ving, amoek kami hoi tangoeng ih kaminawk to nang mah na thuitaek.
22 Roll away from me reproach and contempt; for thy testimonies have I kept.
Nang thuih ih loknawk ka pazui pongah, kasaethuihaih hoi hnaphnaehaih to kai khae hoi na takhoe pae ving ah.
23 Although even princes should sit and speak against me, thy servant would still meditate on thy statutes.
Angraengnawk mah kai kasae ang thuih o; toe na tamna loe nang paek ih loknawk ni ka poek.
24 Also thy testimonies are my delight, my counsellors.
Na thuih ih loknawk loe kang hoehaih hoi kai han poekhaih paekkung ah oh.
25 DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: revive thou me according to thy word.
Ka hinghaih loe maiphu thungah anghnut sut, na lok baktih toengah na hingsak ah.
26 My ways do I relate [to thee], and thou answerest me: teach me thy statutes.
Ka caehhaih loklam kawng ka thuih naah, nang pathim; nang paek ih loknawk to kai han na patuk ah.
27 Cause me to understand the way of thy precepts, that I may meditate on thy wonders.
Nang thuitaekhaih loklamnawk to na panoeksak ah; to tiah nahaeloe dawnrai hmuennawk to ka poek tih.
28 My soul droppeth away from grief: sustain me according to thy word.
Palungset pongah ka hinghaih angpho sut boeh; na lok hoiah tha na caksak ah.
29 The way of falsehood do thou remove from me, and grant me graciously thy law.
Alinghaih loklam thung hoi ka loih thai hanah, tahmenhaih hoi na kaalok to na paek ah.
30 The way of truth have I chosen: thy ordinances have I set [before me].
Kai loe loktang lam to ka qoih moe, na lokcaekhaih ka hmaa ah ka suek boeh.
31 I have adhered unto thy testimonies: O Lord, put me not to shame.
Na thuih ih loknawk to kacakah ka patawnh boeh; Aw Angraeng, azathaih na tongsak hmah.
32 The way of thy commandments will I run; for thou wilt enlarge my heart.
Ka palungthin nam ongsak boeh pongah, na thuih ih loklam pongah ka cawnh han.
33 HE. Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I shall keep it in all its windings.
Aw Angraeng, na thuih ih loknawk pazuihaih loklam to na patuk ah; to loklam to boeng khoek to ka pazui han.
34 Give me understanding, that I may keep thy law, and I will observe it with all [my] heart.
Na kaalok to ka pazui hanah, panoek thaihaih to na paek ah; ue, kaalok to palungthin boih hoiah ka pazui han.
35 Guide me on the path of thy commandments; for therein do I find my delight.
Nang paek ih loknawk hoiah loklam na patuek ah; to loklam ah ni anghoehaih ka tawnh.
36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to desire for gain.
Ka palung hae khithaih bangah na ai ah, na thuih ih loknawk bangah paqoi ah.
37 Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity: on thy way do thou give me life.
Atho kaom ai hmuennawk khet han ai ah ka mik hae paqoi ving ah; na loklam ah na hingsak ah.
38 Fulfill unto thy servant thy promise for those who are devoted to thy fear.
Nang zithaih tawn, na tamna khaeah na lok to caksak ah.
39 Cause to pass away my disgrace of which I have dread; for thy ordinances are good.
Na lokcaekhaih loe hoih baktih toengah, ka zit koek ih kasaethuihaih to na la pae ving ah.
40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: through thy righteousness do thou give my life.
Khenah, nang paek ih loknawk to ka poek khing; na toenghaih bangah na hingsak ah.
41 VAV. And let thy kindness come unto me, O Lord, thy salvation, according to thy promise.
Aw Angraeng, na tahmenhaih rang hoiah na lok baktih toengah, na pahlonghaih kai khaeah angzo nasoe.
42 Then shall I have a word to answer the one that reproacheth me; for I trust in thy word.
Na lok ah oephaih ka tawnh pongah, kai kasae thui kami to lok ka pathim han.
43 And snatch not the word of truth out of my mouth too greatly; for I wait for thy ordinances.
Ka pakha thung hoiah loktang lok to na la pae ving hmah; na lokcaekhaih ah ni oephaih to ka suek.
44 So shall I observe thy law continually for ever and ever.
Na kaalok to dungzan hoi dungzan khoek to ka pazui han.
45 And I will walk in an open space; for thy precepts have I sought.
Nang patuk ih loknawk to ka pakrong pongah, pakaahaih om ai ah ka caeh han.
46 And I will speak of thy testimonies before kings, and will not be ashamed.
Nang paek ih loknawk to siangpahrangnawk hmaa ah ka thuih han, azathaih ka tongh mak ai.
47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I love.
Kai loe ka palung ih, na lokpaekhaih ah kang hoe tih boeh.
48 And so will I lift up my hands unto thy commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on thy statutes.
Ka palung ih na lokpaekhaih bangah ban ka payangh tahang moe, nang patuk ih loknawk to ka poek han.
49 ZAYIN. Remember thy word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to wait.
Na tamna khaeah paek ih lok to panoek poe ah, to lok hoiah ni oephaih to nang paek.
50 This is my comfort in my affliction, that thy promise hath revived me.
Patangkhang naah hae lok mah monghaih ang paek; na lok mah ni kai ang hingsak.
51 The presumptuous have held me too greatly in derision: yet have I not departed away from thy law.
Amoek kaminawk mah kai ang pahnui o thuih; toe kai loe na kaalok hoiah kam khraeng ving ai.
52 I remembered thy decrees [which were] from olden times, O Lord, and thus comforted myself.
Aw Angraeng, canghnii ih lokcaekhaihnawk to ka pakuem poe pongah, monghaih to ang paek.
53 Horror seized on me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
Kasae kaminawk hoi na kaalok pahnawt kaminawk pongah, palungphuihaih mah kai ang pazawk.
54 Songs have thy statutes been unto me in the house of my pilgrimage.
Nang patuk ih lok loe kholong ka caehhaih ahmuen kruekah kai ih laa ah oh.
55 I remembered in the night thy name, O Lord, and observed thy law.
Aw Angraeng, khoving ah, na hmin to ka poek moe, na kaaloknawk to ka pazui.
56 This came to pass unto me, because I had kept thy precepts.
Nang paek ih loknawk ka pazuihaih loe ka sakzong ih hmuen ah oh boeh.
57 CHETH. My portion is the Lord, have I said, that I might observe thy words.
Aw Angraeng, nang loe kai taham ah na oh; na loknawk to ka pazui han, tiah ka thuih boeh.
58 I make entreaty before thee with all my heart: be gracious unto me according to thy promise.
Palungthin boih hoiah nang to kang pakrong boeh; na thuih ih lok baktih toengah na tahmen ah.
59 I have thought over my ways, and made my feet return unto thy testimonies.
Ka caehhaih loklamnawk ka poek naah, nang paek ih loknawk bangah khok ka takan boeh.
60 I hastened, and delayed not to observe thy commandments.
Nang paek ih loknawk loe akra ai, karangah ka pazui roep.
61 Companies of wicked men have surrounded me; but I have not forgotten thy law.
Kasae kaminawk mah kai ang tuk o; toe na kaalok to ka pahnet ai.
62 At midnights do I constantly rise to give thanks unto thee, because of thy righteous decrees.
Katoengah lok na caek pongah, aqum ah kang thawk moe, nang khaeah kawnhaih lok ka thuih han.
63 An associate am I unto all that fear thee, and unto those that keep thy precepts.
Kai loe nang zithaih tawn kaminawk hoi nang paek ih loknawk pazui kaminawk boih ih, ampui ah ka oh.
64 Of thy kindness, O Lord, is the earth full: teach me thy statutes.
Aw Angraeng, long loe na tahmenhaih hoiah koi; na thuitaekhaih loknawk to na patuk ah.
65 TETH. Thou hast shown goodness on thy servant, O Lord, according to thy word.
Aw Angraeng, na lok baktih toengah, na tamna khaeah kahoih hmuen to na sah pae ah.
66 The best of discernment and knowledge do thou teach me; for in thy commandments do I believe.
Nang paek ih loknawk to ka tang pongah, palunghahaih hoi kahoih lokcaekhaih to na paek ah.
67 Before I was afflicted I was in error; but now I observe thy saying.
Loklam kam khraeng ving pongah, nang thuitaek vai boeh; toe vaihi loe na lok to ka tahngai boeh.
68 Thou art good, and doing good: teach me thy statutes.
Nang loe na hoih, na sak ih hmuen doeh hoih; nang paek ih thuitaekhaih loknawk to na patuk ah.
69 The presumptuous have invented falsehoods against me; but I will with all my heart indeed keep thy precepts.
Amoek kaminawk mah amsawnlok hoiah kai ahmin ang set o sak; toe nang paek ih loknawk to palungthin boih hoiah ka pazui han.
70 Gross as fat is their heart; but I take truly delight in thy law.
Nihcae ih palung loe moithawk baktiah amkhawk; toe kai loe na kaalok ah anghoehaih ka tawnh.
71 It is well for me that I have been afflicted, in order that I might learn thy statutes.
Nang paek ih thuitaekhaih loknawk to kam tuk thai hanah, patangkhanghaih loe kai hanah hoih.
72 Better is unto me the law of thy mouth than thousands of gold and silver.
Na pakha pong ih kaalok loe kai hanah, sui hoi sumkanglung sangto pongah doeh hoih kue.
73 YOD. Thy hands have made me and established me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
Na ban hoiah nang sak moe, krang ah nang coengsak; nang paek ih loknawk kam tuk thai hanah, panoekthaihaih to na paek ah.
74 Those that fear thee will see me and be rejoiced; because I have waited for thy word.
Na lok ah oephaih ka suek pongah, nang zithaih tawn kaminawk mah ang hnuk o naah anghoe o tih.
75 I know, O Lord, that thy decrees are righteous, and that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.
Aw Angraeng, nang loe toenghaih hoiah lok na caek, na oepthohhaih hoiah ni kai patang nang khangsak, tito ka panoek.
76 Let, I pray thee, thy kindness come to comfort me, according to thy promise unto thy servant.
Na tamna khaeah na suek ih lok baktih toengah, na palungnathaih mah monghaih na paek nasoe, tiah lawk ka thuih.
77 Let thy mercies come unto me, that I may live; for thy law is my delight.
Ka hing thai hanah, na palungnathaih kai khaeah om nasoe; na kaalok loe kang hoehaih ah oh.
78 Let the presumptuous be made ashamed; because they have without a cause dealt perversely with me; but I will indeed meditate on thy precepts.
Amoek kaminawk loe takung tidoeh om ai ah ka nuiah sethaih sak o pongah, azat o nasoe; toe kai loe nang patuk ih loknawk to ka pakuem han.
79 Let those that fear thee return unto me, and those that know thy testimonies.
Nang zithaih tawn kami hoi na thuih ih loknawk panoek kaminawk loe, nang khaeah amlaem o let nasoe.
80 Let my heart be entire in thy statutes, in order that I may not be put to shame.
Azat ka tong han ai ah, nang thuitaekhaih loknawk pongah ka palung hae coek koi om ai ah om nasoe.
81 CAPH. My soul ardently desireth for thy salvation: for thy word do I wait.
Na pahlonghaih to ka koeh loiah, ka pakhra thazok sut boeh; toe kai loe na lok ah ni oephaih to ka suek.
82 My eyes look eagerly for thy promise, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
Ka miknawk mah na lok to danh, toe hnu ai; natuek naah maw kai nang mongsak tih? tiah ka thuih.
83 For I am become like a bottle in the smoke: [yet] do I not forget thy statutes.
Kai loe kazaek moihin pailang baktiah ni ka oh sut boeh, toe nang thuitaekhaih loknawk to ka pahnet ai.
84 How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute justice on my persecutors?
Na tamna ih ni loe nasetto maw akra vop tih? Kai pacaekthlaek kaminawk to natuek naah maw lok na caek han?
85 The presumptuous have dug pits for me, which is not in accordance with thy law.
Na kaalok baktih na ai ah, amoek kaminawk mah kai hanah tangqom ang takaeh pae o.
86 All thy commandments are founded on truth: without cause they persecute me; help thou me.
Nang paek ih loknawk boih loe oepthoh; tidoeh na ai ah nihcae mah kai ang pacaekthlaek o; na bom ah.
87 But little was wanting that they had consumed me upon earth; but I have truly not forsaken thy precepts.
Long nuiah nihcae mah kai ang tamit o tom boeh, toe na paek ih loknawk to ka pahnawt sut ai.
88 According to thy kindness give me life, that I may observe the testimony of thy mouth.
Nam lunghaih hoiah ka hinghaih hae pathawk ah, to tiah ni pakha hoi na thuih ih loknawk to ka pakuem thai tih.
89 LAMED. To eternity, O Lord, standeth firm thy word with the heavens.
Aw Angraeng, na lok loe van ah, dungzan khoek to cak.
90 Unto all generations endureth thy faithfulness: thou hast established the earth, and she standeth.
Na oepthohhaih loe angzo han koi caanawk dung khoek to cak; long loe na caksak ih baktih toengah, oh poe.
91 According to thy ordinances they exist this day: for all are thy servants.
Na sakzong ih atawk loe vaihni khoek to cak, to sak ih hmuennawk loe na tamna ah ni oh o boih.
92 Unless thy law had been my delights, I should long since have been lost in my affliction.
Na kaalok to kang hoehaih ah om ai nahaeloe, patangkhanghaih hoiah kang hmaa tih boeh.
93 Never will I forget thy precepts; for with them thou hast kept me alive.
Nang patuk ih loknawk to natuek naah doeh ka pahnet mak ai; to loknawk hoiah ni nang hingsak.
94 Thine am I, save me; for thy precepts have I sought.
Na pahlong ah, nang ih hmuen ah ni ka oh; kai loe nang patuk ih loknawk to ni ka pakrong.
95 Wicked men have waited for me to destroy me; [but] I will reflect on thy testimonies.
Kasae kaminawk loe kai hum hanah zing o; toe kai loe na thuih ih loknawk ni ka poek han.
96 Of all perfection have I seen the end; [but] thy commandment is exceedingly extended.
Kacung bit baktiah kamtueng hmuennawk boih loe boenghaih oh, tiah ka hnuk; toe nang paek ih loknawk loe paroeai kawk.
97 MEM. Oh how do I love thy law! all the day is it my (meditation)
Aw na lok hae kawkruk maw ka palung! Athun qui ka poek.
98 Wiser than my enemy doth thy commandment make me; for it is perpetually with me.
Ka misanawk pongah nang paek ih loknawk mah palung ang hasak kue; to loknawk loe ka taengah oh o poe.
99 Above all my teachers have I obtained intelligence; for thy testimonies are my (meditation)
Na thuih ih loknawk to ka poek pongah, kai patuk kaminawk boih pongah panoekhaih ka tawnh kue.
100 More than the elders do I possess understanding; because thy precepts do I keep.
Nang patuk ih loknawk to ka pazui pongah, canghnii ih kaminawk pongah doeh panoekhaih ka tawnh kue.
101 From every evil path have I withholden my feet, in order that I might observe thy word.
Na lok tahngaih thai hanah, kasae loklamnawk thungah khok ka takan ai.
102 From thy ordinances have I not departed; for thou hast instructed me.
Nang patuk boeh pongah, na lokcaekhaih thung hoiah kam khraeng ai.
103 How much sweeter are to my palate thy sayings than honey to my mouth!
Ka pataeng naah na loknawk loe kawkruk maw luep! ue, ka pakha ah loe khoitui pongah doeh luep kue!
104 Through thy precepts shall I obtain understanding: therefore do I hate every path of falsehood.
Nang patuk ih loknawk rang hoiah palunghahaih to ka hnuk; to pongah katoeng ai loklamnawk boih to ka hnukma.
105 NUN. A lamp unto my feet is thy word, and a light unto my path.
Na lok loe ka khok hanah hmaithaw ah oh moe, ka caehhaih loklam hanah aanghaih ah oh.
106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, to observe thy righteous ordinances.
Katoeng na lokcaekhaih pazui han, tiah lokkamhaih to ka caksak han.
107 I am afflicted exceedingly much: O Lord, revive me, according to thy word.
Paroeai patang ka khang; Aw Angraeng, na lok baktih toengah, na pathawk ah.
108 Receive in favor the freewill-offerings of my mouth, I beseech thee, O Lord, and teach me thy ordinances.
Aw Angraeng, ka pakha mah koehhaih baktiah paek ih hmuen to nang talawk pae hanah, kang hnik; na lokcaekhaihnawk to na patuk ah.
109 My life is in my hand continually: yet thy law do I not forget.
Ka hinghaih loe ka ban ah ni oh poe; toe na kaalok to ka pahnet ai.
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet have I not erred from thy precepts.
Kasae kaminawk mah kai hanah thaang ang patung pae o; toe kai loe nang paek ih loknawk hoi kam khraeng ving ai.
111 I have taken thy testimonies as a heritage to eternity; for they are the joy of my heart.
Na thuih ih loknawk loe kai hanah dungzan qawk ah oh moe, ka palung anghoehaih ah oh.
112 I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes always, in all their ways.
Nang thuitaekhaih loknawk boeng khoek to pazui poe hanah, ka palungthin hae ka paongh.
113 SAMECH. Those of divided thoughts I hate; but thy law do I love.
Poek angphae kaminawk to ka hnukma; toe na kaalok loe ka palung.
114 My shelter and my shield art thou: for thy word do I wait.
Nang loe ka buephaih hoi kai pakaahaih ah na oh; na lok ah oephaih ka tawnh.
115 Depart from me, ye evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of God.
Nangcae kahoih ai hmuen sah kaminawk, kai khae hoi tacawt oh; ka Sithaw mah paek ih loknawk to ka pazui han.
116 Uphold me according to thy promise, that I may live, and let me not be made ashamed of my hope.
Ka hing thai hanah, na lok baktih toengah na patawn ah; oephaih ka tawnh pongah na zatsak hmah.
117 Support me that I may be placed in safety, and I will direct my regard unto thy statutes continually.
Ka loih hanah, na patawn ah; nang thuitaekhaih loknawk to ka pazui poe han.
118 Thou hast trodden down all that erringly stray from thy statutes; for falsehood is their deceit.
Na thuitaekhaih loknawk hoi amkhraeng kaminawk boih to na pahnawt; nihcae loe aling hanah lok amlai o.
119 Like dross dost thou put away all the wicked of the earth: therefore do I love thy testimonies.
Kami zae, long kaminawk boih to sum aek baktiah na takhoe baat pongah, na thuih ih loknawk to ka palung.
120 My flesh trembleth shudderingly from dread of thee, and of thy decrees am I afraid.
Nang kang zit loiah ka tasoeh; na lokcaekhaihnawk to ka zit.
121 'AYIN. I have executed justice and righteousness: leave me not to those who oppress me.
Kai loe kamsoem lokcaekhaih hoi toenghaih to ka sak boeh; kai hnaphnae kaminawk khaeah na caeh taak hmah.
122 Protect thy servant for good: let not the presumptuous oppress me.
Na tamna kai ka hoih thai hanah na caksak ah; amoek kaminawk mah na pacaekthalek o hmah nasoe.
123 My eyes look eagerly for thy salvation, and for thy righteous promise.
Na pahlonghaih hoi na toenghaih loknawk to, mik hoiah ka khet.
124 Deal with thy servant according to thy kindness, and thy statutes do thou teach me.
Na palungnathaih baktih toengah, na tamna khaeah sah rae ah loe, nang thuitaekhaih loknawk to na patuk ah.
125 I am thy servant: give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
Kai loe na tamna ah ni ka oh; na thuih ih loknawk ka panoek thai hanah, thaikophaih to na paek ah.
126 It is time to act for the Lord: they have broken thy law.
Aw Angraeng, vaihi loe na toksakhaih atue ah ni oh boeh; nihcae loe na kaalok to phraek o boeh.
127 Therefore do I love thy commandments more than gold, and more than fine gold.
Sui pongah doeh, ue, atui kaciim sui pongah doeh, nang paek ih loknawk to ka palung kue.
128 Therefore do I esteem all thy precepts in all things as right: every path of falsehood do I hate.
To pongah nang paek ih loknawk boih loe toeng tiah ka poek; katoeng ai loklamnawk boih loe ka hnukma.
129 PE. Wonderful are thy testimonies: therefore doth my soul keep them.
Na thuih ih loknawk loe dawnrai han oh; to pongah ka pakhra mah pazui.
130 The opening of thy words giveth light, it giveth understanding unto the simple.
Amtuengsak ih na loknawk mah aanghaih to ang paek moe, panoek ai kaminawk hanah panoekthaihaih to a paek.
131 I opened my mouth, and panted for breath; because for thy commandments did I long.

137 TZADDE. Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy decrees.

138 Thou hast commanded thy testimonies, as righteous and faithful exceedingly.

139 My zeal destroyeth me; because my assailants have forgotten thy words.

140 Thy promise is greatly refined, and thy servant loveth it.

141 I am little and despised: yet thy precepts have I not forgotten.

142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

143 Distress and trouble have overtaken me: [yet] are thy commandments my delights.

144 Righteous are thy testimonies for everlasting: give me understanding, that I may live.

145 KOPH. I have called with all my heart: answer me, O Lord: thy statutes will I keep.

148 My eyes are awake before the night-watches, that I may meditate in thy saying.

149 Hear my voice according to thy kindness: O Lord, according to thy decree do thou grant me life.

150 They that pursue mischievous devices draw nigh: from thy law are they far.

151 Near art thou, O Lord; and all thy commandments are the truth.

152 Of old already I knew of thy testimonies; because for eternity hast thou founded them.

171 My lips shall utter praise; because thou wilt teach me thy statutes.

172 My tongue shall speak loudly of thy promise; for all thy commandments are righteous.

173 Let thy hand be [ready] to help me; for thy precepts have I chosen.

174 I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my delights.

175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee: and let thy decrees help me.

176 I have gone erringly astray like a lost sheep: seek thy servant; for thy commandments have I not forgotten.
