Psalms 116
1 It is lovely to me that the Lord heareth my voice, my supplications.
௧யெகோவா என்னுடைய சத்தத்தையும் என்னுடைய விண்ணப்பத்தையும் கேட்டதினால், அவரில் அன்புகூருகிறேன்.
2 For he hath inclined his ear unto me: therefore throughout all my days will I call on him.
௨அவர் தமது செவியை எனக்குச் சாய்த்தபடியால், நான் உயிரோடிருக்கும்வரை அவரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுவேன்.
3 The bands of death had compassed me, and the pangs of the nether world had overtaken me; I had met with distress and sorrow: (Sheol h7585)
௩மரணக்கட்டுகள் என்னைச் சுற்றிக்கொண்டது, பாதாளக் கண்ணிகள் என்னைப் பிடித்தது; கவலையும் துன்பமும் அடைந்தேன். (Sheol h7585)
4 I then called on the name of the Lord, I beseech thee, O Lord, release my soul.
௪அப்பொழுது நான் யெகோவாவுடைய பெயரைத் தொழுதுகொண்டு: யெகோவாவே, என்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை விடுவியும் என்று கெஞ்சினேன்.
5 Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; and our God is merciful.
௫யெகோவா கிருபையும் நீதியுமுள்ளவர், நம்முடைய தேவன் மனவுருக்கம் உள்ளவர்.
6 The Lord preserveth the simple: I was in misery, and he helped me.
௬யெகோவா கபடற்றவர்களைக் காக்கிறார்; நான் மெலிந்துபோனேன், அவர் என்னைப் பாதுகாத்தார்.
7 Return, O my soul, unto thy rest; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.
௭என் ஆத்துமாவே, யெகோவா உனக்கு நன்மை செய்தபடியால், நீ உன்னுடைய இளைப்பாறுதலுக்குத் திரும்பு.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from falling.
௮என் ஆத்துமாவை மரணத்திற்கும், என் கண்ணைக் கண்ணீருக்கும், என் காலை இடறுதலுக்கும் தப்புவித்தீர்.
9 I will walk before the Lord in the land of life.
௯நான் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக உயிருள்ளவர்கள் தேசத்திலே நடப்பேன்.
10 I believe, therefore will I speak: I was greatly afflicted;
௧0விசுவாசித்தேன், ஆகையால் பேசுகிறேன்; நான் மிகவும் வருத்தப்பட்டேன்.
11 I indeed said in my despondency, Every man is a liar.
௧௧எந்த மனிதனும் பொய்யன் என்று என்னுடைய மனக்கலக்கத்திலே சொன்னேன்.
12 What shall I give in return unto the Lord for all his bounties toward me?
௧௨யெகோவா எனக்குச் செய்த எல்லா உதவிகளுக்காகவும், அவருக்கு என்னத்தைச் செலுத்துவேன்.
13 The cup of salvation will I lift up, and on the name of the Lord will I call.
௧௩இரட்சிப்பின் பாத்திரத்தை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, யெகோவாவுடைய பெயரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுவேன்.
14 My vows will I pay unto the Lord, yea, in the presence of all his people.
௧௪நான் யெகோவாவுக்குச் செய்த பொருத்தனைகளை அவருடைய மக்களெல்லோருக்கும் முன்பாகவும் செலுத்துவேன்.
15 Grievous in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his pious ones.
௧௫யெகோவாவுடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களின் மரணம் அவருடைய பார்வைக்கு அருமையானது.
16 O Lord, truly am I thy servant, I am thy servant, —the son of thy handmaid: thou hast loosened my fetters.
௧௬யெகோவாவே, நான் உமது அடியேன்; நான் உமது அடியாளின் மகனும், உமது ஊழியக்காரனுமாக இருக்கிறேன்; என்னுடைய கட்டுகளை அவிழ்த்துவிட்டீர்.
17 Unto thee will I offer the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and on the name of the Lord will I call.
௧௭நான் உமக்கு நன்றிபலியைச் செலுத்தி, யெகோவாவுடைய பெயரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுவேன்.
18 My vows will I pay unto the Lord, yea, in the presence of all his people,
௧௮நான் யெகோவாவுக்குச் செய்த பொருத்தனைகளை அவருடைய மக்களெல்லோருக்கும் முன்பாகவும்,
19 In the courts of the house of the Lord, in thy midst, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
௧௯யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்தின் முற்றங்களிலும், எருசலேமே உன்னுடைய நடுவிலும் நிறைவேற்றுவேன். அல்லேலூயா.
