Psalms 116
1 It is lovely to me that the Lord heareth my voice, my supplications.
൧യഹോവ എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയും യാചനകളും കേട്ടതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ അവിടുത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.
2 For he hath inclined his ear unto me: therefore throughout all my days will I call on him.
൨കർത്താവ് തന്റെ ചെവി എങ്കലേക്ക് ചായിച്ചതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ ജീവിതകാലമെല്ലാം ദൈവത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും
3 The bands of death had compassed me, and the pangs of the nether world had overtaken me; I had met with distress and sorrow: (Sheol h7585)
൩മരണപാശങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ചുറ്റി, പാതാള വേദനകൾ എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു; ഞാൻ കഷ്ടവും സങ്കടവും അനുഭവിച്ചു. (Sheol h7585)
4 I then called on the name of the Lord, I beseech thee, O Lord, release my soul.
൪“അയ്യോ, യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ” എന്ന് ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു.
5 Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; and our God is merciful.
൫യഹോവ കൃപയും നീതിയും ഉള്ളവൻ; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം കരുണയുള്ളവൻ തന്നെ.
6 The Lord preserveth the simple: I was in misery, and he helped me.
൬യഹോവ അല്പബുദ്ധികളെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; കർത്താവ് എന്നെ എളിയവനാക്കി, എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
7 Return, O my soul, unto thy rest; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.
൭എൻ മനമേ, നീ വീണ്ടും സ്വസ്ഥമായിരിക്കുക; എന്തെന്നാൽ യഹോവ എനിക്ക് നന്മ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from falling.
൮അങ്ങ് എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ മരണത്തിൽനിന്നും എന്റെ കണ്ണിനെ കണ്ണുനീരിൽനിന്നും എന്റെ കാലിനെ വീഴ്ചയിൽനിന്നും രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
9 I will walk before the Lord in the land of life.
൯ഞാൻ ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്ത് യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നടക്കും.
10 I believe, therefore will I speak: I was greatly afflicted;
൧൦“ഞാൻ വലിയ കഷ്ടതയിൽ ആയി” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞത് ഞാൻ അത് വിശ്വസിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടാണ്.
11 I indeed said in my despondency, Every man is a liar.
൧൧“സകലമനുഷ്യരും ഭോഷ്ക്കു പറയുന്നു” എന്ന് ഞാൻ എന്റെ പരിഭ്രമത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.
12 What shall I give in return unto the Lord for all his bounties toward me?
൧൨യഹോവ എനിക്ക് ചെയ്ത സകല ഉപകാരങ്ങൾക്കും ഞാൻ കർത്താവിന് എന്ത് പകരം കൊടുക്കും?
13 The cup of salvation will I lift up, and on the name of the Lord will I call.
൧൩ഞാൻ രക്ഷയുടെ പാനപാത്രം എടുത്ത് യഹോവയുടെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും.
14 My vows will I pay unto the Lord, yea, in the presence of all his people.
൧൪യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ഞാൻ എന്റെ നേർച്ചകൾ കർത്താവിന്റെ സകലജനവും കാൺകെ കഴിക്കും.
15 Grievous in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his pious ones.
൧൫തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരുടെ മരണം യഹോവയ്ക്കു വിലയേറിയതാകുന്നു.
16 O Lord, truly am I thy servant, I am thy servant, —the son of thy handmaid: thou hast loosened my fetters.
൧൬യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസൻ ആകുന്നു; അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസനും അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസിയുടെ മകനും തന്നെ; അങ്ങ് എന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങൾ അഴിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
17 Unto thee will I offer the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and on the name of the Lord will I call.
൧൭ഞാൻ അങ്ങേക്ക് സ്തോത്രയാഗം അർപ്പിച്ച് യഹോവയുടെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും.
18 My vows will I pay unto the Lord, yea, in the presence of all his people,
൧൮യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പ്രാകാരങ്ങളിലും യെരൂശലേമേ, നിന്റെ നടുവിലും
19 In the courts of the house of the Lord, in thy midst, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
൧൯ഞാൻ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് എന്റെ നേർച്ചകൾ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സകലജനവും കാൺകെ കഴിക്കും. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ.
