< Psalms 115 >

1 Not for our sake, O Lord, not for our sake, but unto thy name give glory, for the sake of thy kindness, for the sake of thy truth.
Tsy zahay ry Iehovà, tsy zahay fa i tahina’oy, ro anolorañe engeñe, ty amy fiferenaiña’o naho ty figahiña’o.
2 Wherefore should the nations say, Where now is their God?
Ino ty atao’ o kilakila ‘ndatio ty hoe: Aia t’i Andrianañahare’ iareo?
3 Whereas our God is in the heavens: whatsoever he desireth hath he done.
Andindiñe ao t’i Andrianañaharentika; anoe’e iaby ze satrin’ arofo’e.
4 Their idols are sliver and gold, the work of the hands of man.
Volamena naho vola-foty ty fitalahoa’ iareo, satam-pità’ ondaty.
5 A mouth they have, but speak not; eyes they have, but see not;
Amam-bava iereo, fe tsy mivolañe, ama-maso, f’ie tsy mahatrea;
6 Ears they have, but hear not; a nose they have, but smell not.
aman-tsofy, f’ie tsy mahatsanoñe; aman’ oroñe, f’ie tsy mahaàntsoñe;
7 They have hands, but they touch not; they have feet, but they walk not: nor do they give any utterance by their throat.
aman-taña, f’ie tsy maharambe, aman-tomboke, f’ie tsy mahalia; tsy mahalefe fiñeoñeoñañe o feo’eo.
8 Like them are those that make them, every one that trusteth in them.
Ho hambañe ama’e ty mamboatse aze, Eka! ze hene mpiato ama’e.
9 O Israel, trust thou in the Lord—he is their help and their shield.
Ry Israele, atokiso Iehovà! Ie ty mpañimba naho kalan-defo’ iareo.
10 O house of Aaron, trust ye in the Lord—he is their help and their shield.
Ry tarira’ i Aharone, atokiso Iehovà! Ie ty mpañimba naho kalan-defo’ iareo.
11 Ye that fear the Lord, trust ye in the Lord—he is their help and their shield.
Ry mañeveñe am’ Iehovà, atokiso Iehovà! Ie ty mpañimba naho kalan-defo’ iareo.
12 The Lord hath even been mindful of us, he will bless [us]; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron;
Fa nitiahi’ Iehovà tika, ho tahie’e; ho soae’e ty anjomba’ Israele, ho soae’e ty anjomba’ i Aharone,
13 He will bless those that fear the Lord, the small together with the great.
ho tahie’e o mañeveñe am’ Iehovào, ndra ty kede ndra ty bey.
14 May the Lord increase you more and more, you and your children.
Hampivangongoe’ Iehovà nahareo, inahareo naho o tiri’ areoo,
15 Blessed are ye of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
hampanintsiña’ Iehovà, Andrianamboatse i likerañey naho ty tane toy.
16 The heavens are the heavens of the Lord; but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
O andikerañeo! a Iehovà o likerañeo, fe natolo’e amo ana’ i Dameo ty tane toy.
17 Not the dead can praise the Lord, nor all those that go down into the silence [of death].
Tsy mandrenge Ià o vilasio, ndra ia ia mizotso mb’am-bangìñe ao;
18 But as for us, we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Hallelujah.
Fe hañandriañe Ià tika henane zao ho nainai’e nainai’e. Treño t’Ià!
