< Psalms 114 >

1 When Israel went forth out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of a strange language:
Mu thangu Iseli katotuka mu Ezipite, nzo yi Yakobi mu batu beti tuba mbembo yi nzenza;
2 Judah became his sanctuary, [and] Israel his dominion.
Yuda dikituka buangu kinlongo ki Nzambi, Iseli tsi andi.
3 The sea beheld it, and fled: the Jordan was driven backward.
Mbu wumona ayi wutina; Yolidani yivutuka ku manima.
4 The mountains skipped like wethers, the hills like lambs.
Miongo midumuka banga mamemi mambakala; miongo mifioti banga bana ba mamemi.
5 What aileth thee, O sea, that thou fleest? thou, O Jordan, that thou art driven backward?
A mbi bivangama, ngeyo mbu, muingi wutina ngeyo Yolidani, muingi wuvutuka ku manina e?
6 Ye mountains, that ye skip like wethers? ye hills, like lambs?
Ngeyo miongo, muingi wudumuka banga mamemi ma mbakala, miongo mifioti banga bana ba mememi e?
7 At the presence of the Lord tremble, O earth, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
Tita, a ntoto, va meso ma Yave va meso ma Nzambi yi Yakobi.
8 Who changeth the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of water.
Niandi wunkitulanga ditadi buindi ki nlangu, ditadi dingolo zitho zi nlangu.
