Psalms 113

1 Hallelujah. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise ye the name of the Lord.

Alleluja! Teiciet, jūs Dieva kalpi, teiciet Tā Kunga vārdu.

2 Let the name of the Lord be blessed from this time forth and for evermore.

Slavēts lai ir Tā Kunga vārds no šī laika mūžīgi mūžam.

3 From the rising of the sun unto his going down the name of the Lord is praised.

No saules uzlēkšanas līdz viņas noiešanai lai slavēts ir Tā Kunga vārds.

4 High above all nations is the Lord, above the heavens is his glory.

Tas Kungs ir augsts pār visām tautām, Viņa gods iet pār debesīm.

5 Who is like the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high?

Kas ir tāds kā Tas Kungs, mūsu Dievs? Kas ļoti augsti ir apsēdies;

6 Who condescendeth to view what is done in the heavens, and on the earth?

Kas dziļi noskatās debesīs un virs zemes;

7 He raiseth up out of the dust the poor, from the dunghill he lifteth up the needy:

Kas nabagu paceļ no pīšļiem un bēdīgo paaugstina no dubļiem,

8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

Ka Viņš to sēdina pie lieliem kungiem, pie savu ļaužu lielkungiem;

9 He causeth the barren woman to dwell in the midst of [her] household, the joyful mother of children. Hallelujah.

Kas neauglīgai liek dzīvot namā, ka tā top priecīga dēlu māte. Alleluja!
