Psalms 111

1 Hallelujah. I will thank the Lord with all [my] heart, in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.

Алілу́я!

2 Great are the works of the Lord, they are sought for [by them] in all their desires.

Великі Господні діла́, — вони пожада́ні для всіх, хто їх любить!

3 Glorious and majestic is his doing, and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Його діло — краса́ та вели́чність, а правда Його пробува́є навіки!

4 He hath made a memorial for his wonderful works: gracious and merciful is the Lord.

Він па́м'ятку чудам Своїм учинив, — милости́вий та щедрий Госпо́дь!

5 He hath given sustenance unto those that fear him: he will for ever be mindful of his covenant.

Пожи́ву дає Він для тих, хто боїться Його, заповіта Свого пам'ятає пові́к!

6 The power of his works hath he told unto his people, that he might give them the heritage of nations.

Силу чи́нів Своїх об'явив Він наро́дові Своє́му, щоб спа́дщину наро́дів їм дати.

7 The works of his hands are truth and justice: faultless are all his precepts.

Діла́ рук Його — правда та право, всі нака́зи Його справедли́ві, —

8 They are well supported for ever and eternally: they are framed in truth and uprightness.

вони крі́пкі на вічні віки́, вони зро́блені вірністю і правотою!

9 Redemption hath he sent unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and to be feared is his name.

Послав Він Своєму наро́дові визво́лення, заповіта Свого поставив наві́ки, святе та грізне́ Його Йме́ння!

10 The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord; a good understanding have all that fulfill [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.

Поча́ток премудрости — страх перед Господом, — добрий розум у тих, хто вико́нує це, Його слава навіки стоїть!
