< Psalms 111 >
1 Hallelujah. I will thank the Lord with all [my] heart, in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.
Monkamfo Awurade! Mefi me koma nyinaa mu ama Awurade so wɔ atreneefo aguabɔ ne asafo no mu.
2 Great are the works of the Lord, they are sought for [by them] in all their desires.
Awurade nnwuma yɛ akɛse; wɔn a wɔn ani gye ho nyinaa susuw ho.
3 Glorious and majestic is his doing, and his righteousness endureth for ever.
Ne nnwuma yɛ tumi ne anuonyam, na ne trenee wɔ hɔ daa.
4 He hath made a memorial for his wonderful works: gracious and merciful is the Lord.
Ɔma yɛkae nʼanwonwade; Awurade yɛ ɔdomfo ne mmɔborɔhunufo.
5 He hath given sustenance unto those that fear him: he will for ever be mindful of his covenant.
Ɔma wɔn a wosuro no no aduan; ɔkae nʼapam no daa.
6 The power of his works hath he told unto his people, that he might give them the heritage of nations.
Wakyerɛ ne nkurɔfo tumi a ɛwɔ ne nnwuma mu, sɛ ɔde aman afoforo nsase ama wɔn.
7 The works of his hands are truth and justice: faultless are all his precepts.
Ne nsa ano nnwuma yɛ nokware na ɛteɛ; nʼahyɛde nyinaa mu wɔ ahotoso.
8 They are well supported for ever and eternally: they are framed in truth and uprightness.
Etim hɔ daa daa, nokware ne trenee mu na ɔyɛe.
9 Redemption hath he sent unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and to be feared is his name.
Ɔde ogye maa ne nkurɔfo; ɔde nʼapam sii hɔ afebɔɔ, ne din yɛ kronkron na ɛyɛ hu.
10 The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord; a good understanding have all that fulfill [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.
Awurade suro yɛ nyansa mfiase; wɔn a wodi nʼahyɛde so nyinaa wɔ nhumu pa. Ɔno na daa ayeyi wɔ no.
