Psalms 111

1 Hallelujah. I will thank the Lord with all [my] heart, in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.

१यहोवा की स्तुति करो। मैं सीधे लोगों की गोष्ठी में और मण्डली में भी सम्पूर्ण मन से यहोवा का धन्यवाद करूँगा।

2 Great are the works of the Lord, they are sought for [by them] in all their desires.

२यहोवा के काम बड़े हैं, जितने उनसे प्रसन्न रहते हैं, वे उन पर ध्यान लगाते हैं।

3 Glorious and majestic is his doing, and his righteousness endureth for ever.

३उसके काम वैभवशाली और ऐश्वर्यमय होते हैं, और उसका धर्म सदा तक बना रहेगा।

4 He hath made a memorial for his wonderful works: gracious and merciful is the Lord.

४उसने अपने आश्चर्यकर्मों का स्मरण कराया है; यहोवा अनुग्रहकारी और दयावन्त है।

5 He hath given sustenance unto those that fear him: he will for ever be mindful of his covenant.

५उसने अपने डरवैयों को आहार दिया है; वह अपनी वाचा को सदा तक स्मरण रखेगा।

6 The power of his works hath he told unto his people, that he might give them the heritage of nations.

६उसने अपनी प्रजा को जाति-जाति का भाग देने के लिये, अपने कामों का प्रताप दिखाया है।

7 The works of his hands are truth and justice: faultless are all his precepts.

७सच्चाई और न्याय उसके हाथों के काम हैं; उसके सब उपदेश विश्वासयोग्य हैं,

8 They are well supported for ever and eternally: they are framed in truth and uprightness.

८वे सदा सर्वदा अटल रहेंगे, वे सच्चाई और सिधाई से किए हुए हैं।

9 Redemption hath he sent unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and to be feared is his name.

९उसने अपनी प्रजा का उद्धार किया है; उसने अपनी वाचा को सदा के लिये ठहराया है। उसका नाम पवित्र और भययोग्य है।

10 The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord; a good understanding have all that fulfill [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.

१०बुद्धि का मूल यहोवा का भय है; जितने उसकी आज्ञाओं को मानते हैं, उनकी समझ अच्छी होती है। उसकी स्तुति सदा बनी रहेगी।
