Psalms 111

1 Hallelujah. I will thank the Lord with all [my] heart, in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.

Aleluja! ALEF Hvalit ću Jahvu svim srcem svojim BET u zboru pravednika, u zajednici njihovoj.

2 Great are the works of the Lord, they are sought for [by them] in all their desires.

GIMEL Silna su djela Jahvina, DALET nek' razmišljaju o njima svi koji ih ljube.

3 Glorious and majestic is his doing, and his righteousness endureth for ever.

HE Sjajno je i veličanstveno djelo njegovo, VAU i pravda njegova ostaje dovijeka.

4 He hath made a memorial for his wonderful works: gracious and merciful is the Lord.

ZAJIN Čudesima svojim spomen postavi, HET blag je Jahve i milosrdan.

5 He hath given sustenance unto those that fear him: he will for ever be mindful of his covenant.

TET Hranu dade štovateljima svojim, JOD dovijeka se sjeća svoga Saveza.

6 The power of his works hath he told unto his people, that he might give them the heritage of nations.

KAF Silna djela svoja objavi svom narodu, LAMED u posjed im dade zemlju pogana.

7 The works of his hands are truth and justice: faultless are all his precepts.

MEM Djela ruku njegovih vjernost su i pravednost, NUN stalne su sve naredbe njegove,

8 They are well supported for ever and eternally: they are framed in truth and uprightness.

SAMEK utvrđene za sva vremena, dovijeka, AJIN sazdane na istini i na pravdi.

9 Redemption hath he sent unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and to be feared is his name.

PE On posla spasenje svom narodu, SADE Savez svoj postavi zauvijek: KOF sveto je i časno ime njegovo!

10 The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord; a good understanding have all that fulfill [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.

REŠ Početak mudrosti strah Gospodnji! ŠIN Mudro čine koji ga poštuju. TAU Slava njegova ostaje dovijeka!
