< Psalms 107 >

1 BOOK FIFTH: Oh give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for unto eternity endureth his kindness.
Pakai hi aphatjeh’in thangvahna peuvin, Ami ngailutna dihtah hi tonsot’a dettou jing ahi.
2 Thus let the Lord's redeemed say, even those whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary;
Pakai in nalhatdoh hitam? Achutileh phongdoh’in! Aman namelma holah’a kon a nahoidohsahhi miho seipeh’in.
3 And whom he hath gathered out of the [various] lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the sea.
Ajeh chu Aman gam tamtah'a kon in solamle lhumlam’a kon in, sahlam le lhanglam a kon in sohchangho ahin puikhom’in ahi.
4 They wandered about in the wilderness, in the desert path; they could not find an inhabited city:
Miloi khathi gamthip gammah avahmang’un in le lou beijin avahmang’un,
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul within them fainted.
gilkil leh dangchah geovin thiding konchan aummun,
6 Then they cried unto the Lord when they were in distress, [and] out of their afflictions he delivered them.
“Pakai neipanpin” tin ahahsat nauva Pakai akouvun, chuteng Aman agenthei nauva kon in ahuhdohjin ahi.
7 And he led them forth on the right way, that they might go to an inhabited city.
Aman amaho chu bitkei chan apuijin achenna theiju khopi khatna akoijin ahi.
8 They [therefore] shall give thanks unto the Lord for his kindness, and [proclaim] his wonders to the children of men!
Pakai chu angailutna thupitah jehleh thil kidang tahtah abolpeh jeh’un thangvahna peuhen.
9 For he satisfied the longing soul, and the hungry soul he filled with good.—
Ajeh chu Aman adangchah ho adangnou sah’in, agilkil’ah thilpha tamtah tothon a-oiva sahjin ahi.
10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, bound in misery and [fetters of] iron; —
Miloikhat muthim lah athimlah pen a atouvin, lunggimna thihkhaovin ahen oh’in ahi.
11 Because they have rebelled against the words of God, and have contemned the counsel of the Most High;
Amaho Pathen thu dounan akiphin un, Pathen thumop chu anelpeh’un ahi.
12 And he humbled with trouble their heart; they stumbled, and there was none to help;
Hijeh chun Aman amaho chu akhut hamtah in avolhun, amaho alhuh phatnun koima akithopidiu aumpon ahi.
13 But when they cry unto the Lord when they are in distress, he saveth them out of their afflictions;
Ahahsat tenguleh Pakai akoujiuvin “Pakai neipanpin” atiuve. Hitengle chun Aman athohgim nauva kon in ahuhdohjin ahi.
14 He bringeth them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and teareth their bands asunder.
Aman amaho chu muthimleh ahahsatnau thimjin banga thimlah a kon in apui galkaijin akihennao asutlhappeh’in ahi.
15 They [therefore] shall give thanks unto the Lord for his kindness, and [proclaim] his wonders to the children of men!
Pakai chu ami ngailutna thupitah jehleh thil kidangtah tah abolpeh jeh’in thangvah uhen,
16 For he hath broken the doors of copper, and the bolts of iron hath he hewn asunder.—
ajeh chu Aman sum-eng songkul kotpi avohlhahpeh’in chuleh akihennao thihkhao avohtan pehtan ahi.
17 Fools, because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
Mingol themkhat chun boina asemuvin achonset jeh’un thohgimna atoh’un ahi.
18 All manner of food their soul abhorreth; and they draw near unto the gates of death;
An le twi ngaichatnan athohlel lheh’un hiti chun amaho chu athiding kon ahiuve.
19 But when they cry unto the Lord when they are in distress, he saveth them out of their afflictions.
“Pakai neikithopin” tin ahahsat tenguleh Pakai akoujiuvin Aman athohgim nauva kon in ahuhdohjin ahi.’
20 He sendeth his word and healeth them, and delivereth them from their graves.
Aman thu changkhat agahseijin aboldamjin, thina kotbul a kon in aloidohtan ahi.
21 They [therefore] shall give thanks unto the Lord for his kindness, and [proclaim] his wonders to the children of men!
Ami lungsetna thupitah jehleh amaho dinga thil kidang tamtah anabolpeh jeh’in Pakai chu thangvahna peuhen.
22 They shall also sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and relate his deeds with joyful song.—
Kilhaina gantha pummin thangvahna peuhen, chuleh athilbol kidangtah ho jeh’in thangvahna peuhen.
23 They who go down to the sea in ships, who do business on great waters; —
Mi phabep chu kong innei mangchan twikhanglen’ah vannoi leiset kiveina lampi ajotnun akitollun ahi.
24 These have seen the works of the Lord, and his wonders on the deep.
Amaho jonghin twikhanglen athuhlang tah’a Pakai thuneitah’a anatoh naleh thil thupi tahtah abolna ho amu’vin ahi.
25 For he spoke, and he raised the stormy wind, which lifteth up its waves.
Aman thu aseijin hui ahungnung doh’in twikhanglen ahin kinongsah’in ahi.
26 They would mount up to heaven, they would go down to the depths: their soul was melted because of their danger.
Kong innei hochu vanlanga anuh touvin chule twi thuhlah’a ahung kilehlut kitjin kongtol hochu kichatnan akileh leleuvin ahi.
27 They would reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and all their wisdom was exhausted.
Amaho jukhamho bangin a-onle leuvin kichat tijatjnin adim’un ahi.
28 And they cried unto the Lord when they were in distress, and he brought them out of their afflictions.
“Pakai neihuh’un” tin ahahsat phatnun Pakai akouvun, Amanjong agimnauva kon in ahuhdohjin ahi.
29 He calmed the storm into a whisper, and stilled were the waves of the sea.
A-o neochakhat’in hui le guo kithochu athipsah’in chuleh twi kinong jong asutang’in ahi.
30 And they were rejoiced because they were silent: and then he guided them unto their desired haven.
Hiche athip theina chu ichan gei a pha a phatthei bohna hitam? Kongchu kong mun’ah bitkeichan apuilut in ahi.
31 They [therefore] shall give thanks unto the Lord for his kindness, and [proclaim] his wonders to the children of men!
Pakai chu angailutna thupitah jehleh thilkidang tamtah abolpehjeh’un thangvahna peuhen.
32 And they must exalt him in the congregation of the people, and in the assembly of the elders must they praise him.—
Nam lamkaiho masangleh, mipi kikhomho masangah japi hetthei doltah’in thangvahna peuhen.
33 He changeth rivers into a wilderness, and water-springs into parched ground;
Aman vadung jong neldigam asosahjin, twisam putna munho jong gamgo leh adangchahna asosahjin ahi.
34 A fruitful land into a salty waste, for the wickedness of those that dwell therein.
Aman ga phatah sona gamphatah jong ima sodoh louna chitwi-al gamgo asosah thei in ahi, agamsunga cheng mipite phatmo jeh’a hitia chu abolji ahi.
35 He changeth the wilderness into a pool of water, and desert land into water-springs.
Ahinlah Aman neldigam chu twikul asosah’in, chuleh gamgo jong twiputna mun asosahjin ahi.
36 And there he causeth to dwell the hungry, that they may found an inhabited city;
Aman gilkel dangchah techu khopi semdoh dinga hiche mun a chu achensah ding ahi.
37 And they sow fields, and plant vineyards, that they may yield the fruits of the [annual] product.
Amahon aloulai uva muchi kitheuvin tin lengpigui tu uvintin ga lhingsetna akilodiu ahi.
38 He also blesseth them, and they multiply greatly, and he suffereth not their cattle to diminish.
Aman ichan gei a phatthei aboh hitam? Amahon insungmi tamtah atungdoh’un chuleh aganchahou ninglhingset ding ahi.
39 They were also diminished and bowed low through oppression, misfortune, and sorrow:
Ijemtia bolgentheina jal le, boina le hahsatna jal'a umho mihem a akemsuh uva avaichat phatnuleh,
40 He [then] poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in a pathless wilderness.
Pakai in alengteu hinpaidoh intin amaho gamgo laiya pannabei in umsah leleu vintin,
41 And he exalteth the needy from misery, and maketh [his] families like flocks.
hinla Pakai in mivaichaho ahahsat nauva kon in kelngoihon phatah bangin ainsunga hinpunsah intin,
42 The righteous shall see it, and rejoice; but all wickedness shall stop her mouth.
Miphahon hiche thilsoh hohi hinveu vintin kipahdiu ahinla miphalou hochu suhthipma umdiu ahi.
43 Whoever is wise, let him observe these things, and let [all] understand the kindness of the Lord.
Michingho jousen hitia thilsoh hohi lunggiltah’in hinheu vintin, amahon hitobang ikhankhouva kon a hi Pakai mingailutna dihtah chu ahin mudohdiu ahi.
