< Psalms 104 >
1 Bless, O my soul, the Lord. O Lord my God, thou art very great; with glory and majesty art thou clothed.
Aw ka hqingnaak, Bawipa kyihcah lah. Aw Bawipa ka Khawsa, nang taw bau soeih hyk ti; boeimang ypawmnaak ing thoeihcam qu hyk ti.
2 [Thou art he] who wrappeth himself in light as with a garment; who stretcheth out the heavens like a curtain;
Vangnaak ce hi amyihna bai nawh; khankhqi ce hi im amyihna phyl hy,
3 Who frameth of the waters the beams of his upper-chambers; who maketh the clouds his chariot; who walketh along upon the wings of the wind:
a awmnaak ak khan ipkaikhqi ce tuikhqik khan awh zilh ang hlakhqi awh ce ngawi hy.
4 Who maketh the winds his messengers; the flaming fire his ministers;
Zilh ce a ceityihkhqi na sai nawh; maikqawng ing mai ce a tyihzawih na sai hy.
5 Who hath founded the earth upon her bases, that she should not be moved to all eternity.
Khawmdek ve ang hangnaak hun awh hawih nawh, am thoeih qoe hy.
6 Thou hadst covered the deep as with a garment: above the mountains stood the waters.
Tuihdung ingkaw hi amyihna zawl malh nawh; tlangkhqi ak khan awh tui pha sak hyk ti.
7 At thy rebuke they fled, at the voice of thy thunder they hastened away.
Cehlai nang ing na zyih a dawngawh tuikhqi cen nawh, nang a khawhum awi awh ang tawnna cen hy;
8 They ascended mountains; they went down valleys, unto the place which thou hadst founded for them.
tlangkhqik khanna lawng unawh tuikawkhqi awh awm nung lawng uhy, a mingmih aham hun na qoek na bah peeknaak hun awh lawng uhy.
9 Bounds hast thou set which they cannot pass over, that they return not again to cover the earth.
Cekkhqi amang lawngnaak thai aham qamqi taak pe hyk ti; ityk awh awm khawmdek ve am leu voel tikaw.
10 [Thou art he] who sendeth springs into the valleys, between mountains they run along.
Lawngsip awm sak nawh lawnghawi dung awh lawng sak hy; tlangkhqi anglakawh ce lawng hy.
11 They give drink to all the beasts of the field: the wild asses quench [thereon] their thirst.
Qam awhkaw chukphakhqi boeih ce awk sak nawh; kqawng meqangkhqi ami tui ngaih sit hy.
12 By them have the fowls of the heaven ever their habitation, from between the branches they send forth their voice.
Khan nakaw phakhqi ing tuikeng awh bu sawn unawh; thingpangkhqi awh laa sa uhy.
13 Who watereth the mountains from his upper-chambers: from the fruit of thy works is the earth satisfied.
A awmnaak aham im awhkawng tlangkhqi ce tui ing syp nawh; a bibinaak ak thaih ing khawmdek ve phoen phyi sak hy.
14 [Thou art he] who causeth grass to grow for the cattle, and herbs by the service of man, that he may bring forth bread out of the earth;
Khqin aham qam cawn sak nawh, thlanghqing aham tawihah anhah cawt sak hy – khawmdek awhkawng buh a an taak law pehy:
15 And wine that maketh joyful the heart of man, [and] oil to brighten his face, and bread which strengtheneth the heart of man.
thlang ak kawlung ak zeel sak misur tui, haai a plangnaak aham situi, ak kawlung tha ak awm sak phaihpi ce pehy.
16 Full of sap are the trees of the Lord, the cedars of Lebanon which he hath planted;
Bawipa a thingkhqi, Lebanon awh amah ing ang lingkhqi ce khaw ing ak qui na syp hy.
17 Where the birds make their nests: the stork—fir-trees are her house.
Cawh phakhqi ing bu sawn unawh, sidar a thing awh phungawkhqi ing im ta uhy.
18 The high mountains are for the wild goats: the rocks are a shelter for the conies.
Tlang sangkhqi cetaw sangza sithai awmnaak hun na awm nawh; minpoengkhqi cetaw phihkhqi a awmnaak hun na awm hy.
19 He hath made the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
Hla ing khawcan sim nawh, khawmik ing a nung tlaak tym sim hy.
20 Thou causest darkness, and it becometh night, wherein creep forth all the beasts of the forest.
Nang ing thannaak haw law tiksaw, khawmthan na coeng hy, cawh khqinkhqi lym ang hang uhy.
21 The young lions roar after their prey, and ask from God their food.
Sendeihkhqi ing khqin a ai kawi tu aham ami ngaih awh kawk unawh, Khawsa venawh kawng ai sui uhy.
22 The sun ariseth, they withdraw [to their lairs], and lie down in their dens.
Khawmik ang thoeng law awhtaw qeng sap uhy; a awmnaak lukkawk khuina voei unawh zaih uhy.
23 Man goeth [then] forth unto his work, and to his labor until the evening.
Cawh thlang ing bibi aham cet nawh, khawmy dy bi sai hy.
24 How manifold are thy works, O Lord! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
Aw Bawipa, na bibi ve kqeng soeih mah hy! Cyihnaak ing vemyihkhqi boeih ve sai hyk ti; khawmdek ve na sai ik-oeih ing bengen hy.
25 Here is this great and wide-extended sea; therein are moving things without number, living creatures both small and great.
Ak kau soeih tuicunli awm awm nawh, noet noeng kaana a sai lumngakhqi ak zawi ak bau awm hy.
26 There the ships make their way: [there also] is the leviathan, whom thou hast made to sport therein.
Cawh lawk baukhqi hu hai na cet unawh, cawh nang ing tuinga ang lymnaak khoek hun ce sai pe hyk ti.
27 All of these wait upon thee, to give them their food in its due season.
A tym can awh nang ing buh na peek hly ce lamtoen doena nang ce ni toek uhy.
28 What thou givest them they gather: thou openest thy hand, they are satisfied with good.
Cekkhqi ce buh na peek awh, a mingmih ing cung hloep uhy, nang ing na kut nak thlek awh cekkhqi ing ik-oeik leek ing be uhy.
29 Thou hidest thy face, they suddenly vanish: thou takest away their spirit, they perish, and to their dust they return.
Cehlai haai na thuh awh, mawn uhy; cekkhqi ang hqi ce na lawh peek valh awh, thi unawh dekvai na hlat uhy.
30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created; and thou renewest the face of the earth.
Nang Myihla ce na tyih awh, a mingmih ce sai na awm unawh, nang ing khawmdek ce tlaih pan hyk ti.
31 The glory of the Lord will endure for ever; the Lord will rejoice in his works:
Bawipa a boeimangnaak taw kumqui dy awm poe seh; a bibinaak awh Bawipa taw zeel seh –
32 He who looketh down on the earth, and she trembleth; who toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.
khawmdek toek nawh, tyn sak hy, tlangkhqi bi nawh khu sak hy.
33 I will sing unto the Lord while I live: I will sing praises to my God while I exist.
Ka hqing khui pyt Bawipa venawh laa sa kawng nyng; ka hqing khui ka Khawsa kyihcahnaak laa sa vang nyng.
34 May my speech be agreeable to him: I will indeed rejoice in the Lord.
Bawipa awh ka zeel lawt amyihna, kak kawpoeknaak ve a venawh zeelnaak na awm seh.
35 May the sinners cease from off the earth, and the wicked be no more. Bless, O my soul, the Lord. Hallelujah.
Cehlai thlak thawlhkhqi taw khawmdek awhkawng cing baat u seitaw thlakchekhqi awm koeh awm voel u seh. Aw ka hqingnaak, Bawipa ce kyihcah lah.
