Psalms 103
1 “Of David.” Bless, O my soul, the Lord, and all that is within me, his holy name.
| לדוד ברכי נפשי את-יהוה וכל-קרבי את-שם קדשו |
2 Bless, O my soul, the Lord, and forget not all his benefits:
| ברכי נפשי את-יהוה ואל-תשכחי כל-גמוליו |
3 Who forgiveth all thy iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
| הסלח לכל-עונכי הרפא לכל-תחלואיכי |
4 Who redeemeth from the pit thy life; who crowneth thee with kindness and mercies;
| הגואל משחת חייכי המעטרכי חסד ורחמים |
5 Who satisfieth with happiness thy spirit, so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's [plumage].
| המשביע בטוב עדיך תתחדש כנשר נעוריכי |
6 The Lord executeth righteousness, and justice for all that are oppressed.
| עשה צדקות יהוה ומשפטים לכל-עשוקים |
7 He made known his ways unto Moses, unto the children of Israel his acts.
| יודיע דרכיו למשה לבני ישראל עלילותיו |
8 Merciful and gracious is the Lord, long-suffering and abundant in kindness.
| רחום וחנון יהוה ארך אפים ורב-חסד |
9 Not for all eternity will he contend; nor will he for ever retain his anger.
| לא-לנצח יריב ולא לעולם יטור |
10 Not in accordance with our sins hath he dealt with us; nor according to our iniquities hath he requited us.
| לא כחטאינו עשה לנו ולא כעונתינו גמל עלינו |
11 For as high as heaven is above the earth, so mighty is his kindness toward those that fear him.
| כי כגבה שמים על-הארץ-- גבר חסדו על-יראיו |
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed from us our transgressions.
| כרחק מזרח ממערב-- הרחיק ממנו את-פשעינו |
13 As a father hath mercy on his children, so hath the Lord mercy on those that fear him.
| כרחם אב על-בנים-- רחם יהוה על-יראיו |
14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
| כי-הוא ידע יצרנו זכור כי-עפר אנחנו |
15 As for man, like the grass are his days: as the blossom of the field, so doth he bloom.
| אנוש כחציר ימיו כציץ השדה כן יציץ |
16 When a wind but passeth over it, it is gone, and its place will recognize it no more.
| כי רוח עברה-בו ואיננו ולא-יכירנו עוד מקומו |
17 But the kindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting over those that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children,
| וחסד יהוה מעולם ועד-עולם-- על-יראיו וצדקתו לבני בנים |
18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those who remember his precepts to execute them.
| לשמרי בריתו ולזכרי פקדיו לעשותם |
19 The Lord hath established in the heavens his throne; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
| יהוה--בשמים הכין כסאו ומלכותו בכל משלה |
20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, mighty in strength, that execute his word, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
| ברכו יהוה מלאכיו גברי כח עשי דברו לשמע בקול דברו |
21 Bless ye the Lord, all his hosts, ye his ministers, that execute his will.
| ברכו יהוה כל-צבאיו-- משרתיו עשי רצונו |
22 Bless the Lord, all his works, in all the places of his dominion; bless, O my soul, the Lord.
| ברכו יהוה כל-מעשיו-- בכל-מקמות ממשלתו ברכי נפשי את-יהוה |
