Psalms 102

1 “A prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out before the Lord his complaint.” O Lord, hear my prayer, and let my cry come unto thee.

യഹോവയുടെമുമ്പാകെ അവശനായി ആവലാതിപറയുന്ന ഒരു പീഡിതന്റെ പ്രാർഥന, അദ്ദേഹം യഹോവയുടെമുമ്പാകെ തന്റെ സങ്കടങ്ങൾ സമർപ്പിക്കുന്നു. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാർഥന കേൾക്കണമേ; സഹായത്തിനായുള്ള എന്റെ നിലവിളി തിരുമുമ്പാകെ എത്തട്ടെ.

2 Hide not thy face from me on the day when I am distressed; incline unto me thy ear; on the day when I call, answer me speedily.

എന്റെ ദുരിതദിനങ്ങളിൽ അങ്ങയുടെ മുഖം എന്നിൽനിന്നും മറയ്ക്കരുതേ. അങ്ങയുടെ ചെവി എന്നിലേക്കു ചായ്‌ക്കണമേ; ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ, വേഗത്തിൽ എനിക്ക് ഉത്തരമരുളണമേ.

3 For my days vanish in smoke, and my bones are burning like a hearth.

എന്റെ ദിനങ്ങൾ പുകപടലംപോലെ പാറിപ്പോകുന്നു; എന്റെ അസ്ഥികൾ കൽക്കരിക്കനൽപോലെ കത്തിയെരിയുന്നു.

4 Struck [by heat] like the herb and dried up is my heart; for I forget to eat my bread.

എന്റെ ഹൃദയം പുല്ലുപോലെ നശിച്ചുണങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ മറന്നുപോകുന്നു.

5 Because of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my flesh.

ഉച്ചത്തിലുള്ള എന്റെ ഞരക്കംമൂലം, ഞാൻ എല്ലുംതോലും ആയിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

6 I am like the pelican of the wilderness: I am become like the owl amid ruins.

ഞാൻ മരുഭൂമിയിലെ മൂങ്ങപോലെ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവശിഷ്ടങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലെ മൂങ്ങപോലെതന്നെ.

7 I watch, and I am become like a [night-]bird sitting alone upon the housetop.

എനിക്ക് ഉറക്കമില്ലാതായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; പുരമുകളിൽ തനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പക്ഷിയെപ്പോലെതന്നെ.

8 All the day my enemies reproach me: they that mock me swear by me.

ദിവസംമുഴുവനും എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ എന്നെ അധിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ പരിഹസിക്കുന്നവർ എന്റെ പേരുതന്നെ ഒരു ശാപവാക്കായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.

9 For ashes do I eat like bread, and my drink I mingle with weeping;

ആഹാരംപോലെ ഞാൻ ചാരം ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നു എന്റെ പാനീയത്തിൽ ഞാൻ കണ്ണുനീർ കലർത്തുന്നു

10 Because of thy indignation and thy wrath; for thou hadst lifted me up, and hast cast me down.

അങ്ങയുടെ ഉഗ്രകോപമാണ് ഇതിനെല്ലാം കാരണം; അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുത്ത് ദൂരേക്ക് എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞല്ലോ.

11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and like the herb I wither.

എന്റെ ദിനങ്ങളെല്ലാം സായാഹ്നനിഴൽപോലെ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു; പുല്ലുപോലെ ഞാൻ ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു.

12 But thou, O Lord, wilt sit enthroned for ever; and thy memorial is unto all generations.

എന്നാൽ യഹോവേ, അവിടന്ന് എന്നേക്കും സിംഹാസനസ്ഥനായിരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങയുടെ ഔന്നത്യം എല്ലാ തലമുറകളിലും നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു.

13 Thou wilt indeed arise; thou wilt have mercy upon Zion; for it is time to favor her, for the appointed time is coming.

അവിടന്ന് എഴുന്നേൽക്കും, സീയോനോട് കരുണകാണിക്കും; അവളോട് കരുണ കാണിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള സമയമാണിത്; നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ട സമയം വന്നുചേർന്നല്ലോ.

14 For thy servants hold dear her stones, and her very dust they cherish.

അങ്ങയുടെ സേവകർക്ക് അവളിലെ കല്ലുകളോടു പ്രിയംതോന്നുന്നു; അവളുടെ ധൂളിപോലും അവരിൽ അനുകമ്പ ഉയർത്തുന്നു.

15 Then shall nations fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory:

രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങൾ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടും, ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലരാജാക്കന്മാരും അവിടത്തെ മഹത്ത്വത്തെ ആദരിക്കും.

16 When the Lord shalt have built up Zion, he appeareth in his glory;

കാരണം യഹോവ സീയോനെ പുനർനിർമിക്കുകയും അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ മഹത്ത്വത്തിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷനാകുകയും ചെയ്യും.

17 [When] he hath regarded the prayer of the forsaken, and doth not despise their prayer.

അവിടന്ന് അനാഥരുടെ പ്രാർഥന കേൾക്കും അവരുടെ യാചന അവിടന്ന് നിരാകരിക്കുകയില്ല.

18 This shall be written down for the latest generation; and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord.

ഇത് വരുംതലമുറകൾക്കുവേണ്ടി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തട്ടെ, അങ്ങനെ നാളിതുവരെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്തവരും യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തട്ടെ:

19 For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; the Lord hath cast from heaven his view to the earth:

“തടവുകാരുടെ ഞരക്കം കേൾക്കുന്നതിനും വധശിക്ഷയ്ക്കു വിധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരെ മോചിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുംവേണ്ടി; യഹോവ ഉന്നതത്തിലുള്ള തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽനിന്ന് താഴോട്ടു നോക്കി സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്ന് ഭൂമിയെ വീക്ഷിച്ചു.”

20 To hear the sighing of the prisoner; to loosen those that are doomed to death:

21 That men may proclaim in Zion the name of the Lord, and his praise in Jerusalem;

ജനതകളും രാജ്യങ്ങളും യഹോവയെ ആരാധിക്കാൻ ഒത്തുചേരുമ്പോൾ,

22 When people are gathered together, and kingdoms, to serve the Lord.—

യഹോവയുടെ നാമം സീയോനിലും അവിടത്തെ സ്തുതി ജെറുശലേമിലും വിളംബരംചെയ്യപ്പെടും.

23 He hath weakened on the way my strength; he hath shortened my days.

എന്റെ ജീവിതയാത്ര പൂർത്തിയാകുന്നതിനുമുമ്പേതന്നെ അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ ബലം ക്ഷയിപ്പിച്ചു; അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ നാളുകൾ വെട്ടിച്ചുരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

24 I will say, O my God! take me not away in the midst of my days: throughout all generations are thy years.

അതിനാൽ ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു: “എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ആയുസ്സിന്റെ മധ്യത്തിൽവെച്ച് എന്നെ എടുക്കരുതേ; അവിടത്തെ സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ തലമുറതലമുറയായി തുടരുന്നുവല്ലോ.

25 In olden times didst thou lay the foundations of the earth; and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

ആദിയിൽ അവിടന്ന് ഭൂമിക്ക് അടിസ്ഥാനമിട്ടു, ആകാശവും അവിടത്തെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിതന്നെ.

26 These will indeed perish, but thou wilt ever exist: yea, all of them will wear out like a garment; as a vesture wilt thou change them, and they will be changed;

അവ നശിച്ചുപോകും. എന്നാൽ, അങ്ങ് നിലനിൽക്കും; അവയെല്ലാം ഒരു വസ്ത്രംപോലെതന്നെ പിഞ്ചിപ്പോകും. വസ്ത്രം മാറുന്നതുപോലെ അങ്ങ് അവയെ മാറ്റിക്കളയും അവ പുറന്തള്ളപ്പെടും.

27 But thou art ever the same, and thy years will have no end.

എന്നാൽ അങ്ങ് സുസ്ഥിരനായി നിലകൊള്ളും; അങ്ങയുടെ സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ ഒരിക്കലും അവസാനിക്കുകയുമില്ല.

28 The children of thy servants will dwell [securely], and their seed will be firmly established before thee.

അവിടത്തെ സേവകരുടെ മക്കൾ അങ്ങയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ സുരക്ഷിതരായി ജീവിക്കും; അവരുടെ പിൻതലമുറ തിരുമുമ്പാകെ നിലനിൽക്കും.”
