Psalms 101

1 “By David, a psalm.” Of kindness and justice will I sing: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing praises.

தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். யெகோவாவே, நான் உமது அன்பையும் நீதியையும் குறித்துப் பாடுவேன்; உமக்கே நான் துதி பாடுவேன்.

2 I will carefully regard the way of the perfect: oh when will thou come unto me? I will walk in the integrity of my heart in the midst of my house.

நான் குற்றமற்ற வாழ்க்கையை வாழ கவனமாயிருப்பேன்; நீர் எப்பொழுது என்னிடத்தில் வருவீர்? நான் குற்றமற்ற இருதயத்துடன் என் வீட்டின் விவகாரங்களை நடத்துவேன்.

3 I will not set before my eyes a godless thing; to commit a departure [from righteousness] do I hate; it shall not cleave to me.

தீங்கான செயல்களை நான் என் கண்முன் வைக்கமாட்டேன். உண்மையற்ற மனிதரின் செயல்களை நான் வெறுக்கிறேன்; அவைகள் என்னைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளாது.

4 A perverse heart shall depart from me: evil will I not know.

வஞ்சக இருதயமுடைய மனிதரை என்னைவிட்டுத் தூரமாய் விலக்கிவைப்பேன்; நான் தீமையோடு எவ்வித தொடர்பும் வைக்கமாட்டேன்.

5 Whoso slandereth in secret his neighbor, him will I destroy: whoso hath proud eyes and a haughty heart, him will I not suffer.

தன் அயலாரை இரகசியமாய் அவதூறு செய்கிற மனிதரை நான் தண்டிப்பேன்; கர்வமான கண்களையும் பெருமையான இருதயத்தையும் கொண்ட மனிதரை நான் சகிக்கமாட்டேன்.

6 My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may abide with me: he that walketh in the way of the perfect, he it is that shall serve me.

நாட்டில் உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாய் இருப்போர்மீது என் கண்கள் இருக்கும், அவர்கள் என்னோடு வாழ்வார்கள்; குற்றமற்றவனாய் நடப்பவர்களே எனக்கு ஊழியம் செய்வார்கள்.

7 He that practiseth deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that speaketh falsehoods shall not succeed before my eyes.

வஞ்சனை செய்யும் யாரும் என் வீட்டில் வாழமாட்டார்கள்; பொய்ப் பேசுபவர் யாரும் என் சமுகத்தில் நிற்கவுமாட்டார்கள்.

8 Every morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land, cutting off from the city of the Lord all the wrong-doers.

நான் நாட்டிலுள்ள கொடியவர்கள் எல்லோரையும் காலைதோறும் தண்டிப்பேன்; தீங்குசெய்யும் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் யெகோவாவினுடைய நகரத்திலிருந்து அகற்றிவிடுவேன்.
