Psalms 101

1 “By David, a psalm.” Of kindness and justice will I sing: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing praises.

करारको विश्‍वस्‍तता र न्यायको बारेमा म गाउनेछु । हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंको निम्ति म स्‍तुति गाउनेछु ।

2 I will carefully regard the way of the perfect: oh when will thou come unto me? I will walk in the integrity of my heart in the midst of my house.

इमानदरीताको बाटोमा म हिंड्नेछु । तपाईं मकहाँ कहिले आउनुहुनेछ? म आफ्‍नो घरभित्र इमानदरीतामा हिंड्‍नेछु ।

3 I will not set before my eyes a godless thing; to commit a departure [from righteousness] do I hate; it shall not cleave to me.

आफ्‍नो आँखाको सामु म खराबीलाई राख्‍नेछैन । व्‍यर्थका खराब कुरालाई म घृणा गर्छु । त्‍यो मसित टाँसिनेछैन ।

4 A perverse heart shall depart from me: evil will I not know.

भ्रष्‍ट मानिसहरूले मलाई छोड्नेछन् । खराबीप्रति बफादार छैन ।

5 Whoso slandereth in secret his neighbor, him will I destroy: whoso hath proud eyes and a haughty heart, him will I not suffer.

आफ्नो छिमेकी गुप्‍त रूपमा निन्दा गर्ने जोसुकैलाई म नाश गर्नेछु । घमण्डी आचरण र अहङ्कारी विचार भएको कुनै पनि व्यक्‍तिलाई म सहनेछैन ।

6 My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may abide with me: he that walketh in the way of the perfect, he it is that shall serve me.

मेरो छेउमा बस्‍नलाई म देशका विश्‍वासयोग्यहरू खोज्‍नेछु । इमानदारीताको बाटोमा हिंड्नेहरूले मेरो सेवा गर्न सक्छन् ।

7 He that practiseth deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that speaketh falsehoods shall not succeed before my eyes.

छली मानिसहरू मेरो मन्‍दिरभित्र रहनेछैनन् । झुट बोल्नेहरूलाई मेरो सामु स्वागत गरिनेछैन ।

8 Every morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land, cutting off from the city of the Lord all the wrong-doers.

हरेक बिहानै म दुष्‍टहरूलाई देशबाट नष्‍ट पार्नेछु । दुष्‍ट काम गर्ने सबैलाई म परमप्रभुको सहरबाट हटाउनेछु ।
