Psalms 101

1 “By David, a psalm.” Of kindness and justice will I sing: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing praises.

Mag-awit ako ug matinud-anon nga kasabotan ug hustisya; alang kanimo, Yahweh, magaawit ako ug mga pagdayeg.

2 I will carefully regard the way of the perfect: oh when will thou come unto me? I will walk in the integrity of my heart in the midst of my house.

Maglakaw ako sa dalan sa pagkamatinud-anon. O, kanus-a ka man moanhi kanako? Maglakaw ako inubanan sa pagkamatinud-anon sulod sa akong balay.

3 I will not set before my eyes a godless thing; to commit a departure [from righteousness] do I hate; it shall not cleave to me.

Dili ako motugot ug daotang mga binuhatan sa akong panan-aw; nagdumot ako sa mga daotan; dili kini makakupot kanako.

4 A perverse heart shall depart from me: evil will I not know.

Ang masinupakon nga mga tawo mobiya kanako; dili ako magmaunongon sa daotan.

5 Whoso slandereth in secret his neighbor, him will I destroy: whoso hath proud eyes and a haughty heart, him will I not suffer.

Laglagon ko kadtong nanglibak sa iyang silingan sa tago. Dili nako pasagdan nga magpadayon kadtong mapasigarbohon ug mapahitas-on ang kinaiya.

6 My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may abide with me: he that walketh in the way of the perfect, he it is that shall serve me.

Tugotan ko nga ang matinud-anon sa yuta maglingkod sa akong kiliran. Kadtong naglakaw sa dalan sa pagkamatinud-anon mahimong mag-alagad kanako.

7 He that practiseth deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that speaketh falsehoods shall not succeed before my eyes.

Ang malimbongon nga mga tawo dili magpabilin sa akong balay; ang mga bakakon dili madawat sa akong panan-aw.

8 Every morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land, cutting off from the city of the Lord all the wrong-doers.

Matag buntag akong laglagon ang daotan gikan sa yuta. Wagtangon ko ang tanan nga nagabuhat ug daotan gikan sa siyudad ni Yahweh.
