< Proverbs 9 >
1 Wisdom hath built her house; she hath hewn out her seven pillars;
Xigmaddu gurigeeday dhisatay, Toddobadeedii tiirna way xaradhay.
2 She hath killed her cattle; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also set in order her table.
Neefafkeedii ayay qashay, oo waxay isku dartay khamrigeedii; Miiskeediina way diyaarisay.
3 She hath sent forth her maidens: she inviteth [her guests] upon the top of the highest places of the town.
Oo gabdhaheedii midiidinnada ahaa ayay dirtay, oo waxay ka qaylinaysaa Magaalada meelaha ugu sarreeya, iyadoo leh,
4 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that is void of sense, she saith to him,
Ku alla kii garaaddaranu, halkan ha u soo leexdo. Oo kii waxgarasho u baahanna waxay ku leedahay,
5 “Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.
Kaalaya oo kibistayda wax ka cuna, Oo khamriga aan isku darayna wax ka cabba.
6 Forsake simplicity, and live; and go onward on the way of understanding.
Garaadlaawayaashow, nacasnimada iska daaya, oo noolaada, Oo jidka waxgarashadana mara.
7 He that correcteth a scorner acquireth for himself abuse; and he that reproveth the wicked getteth himself a blemish.
Kii mid wax quudhsada toosiyaa, cay buu isu soo jiidaa, Oo kii kan sharka leh canaantana, ceeb baa ku dhacda.
8 Do not correct a scorner, lest he hate thee: reprove a wise man, and he will love thee.
Mid wax quudhsada ha canaanan, waaba intaas oo uu ku necbaadaaye, Nin caqli leh canaano, oo isna wuu ku jeclaan doonaa.
9 Give to the wise [instruction], and he will become yet wiser: impart knowledge to the righteous, and he will increase his information.
Nin caqli leh wax bar, oo isna caqli wuu sii yeelan doonaa. Nin xaq ah wax bar, oo isna waxbarasho wuu sii korodhsan doonaa.
10 The commencement of wisdom is the fear of the Lord; and the knowledge of the Most Holy One is understanding.
Rabbiga in laga cabsado waa xigmadda bilowgeeda, Oo Kan quduuska ah in la aqoonsadona waa waxgarasho.
11 For through me shall thy days be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased unto thee.
Waayo, maalmahaagu anigay igu badan doonaan, Oo cimrigaaguna waa sii kordhi doonaa.
12 If thou art become wise, thou art wise for thyself; but if thou art a scorner, thou alone wilt have to bear it.”
Haddaad caqli leedahay naftaadaad caqli u leedahay, Laakiinse haddaad wax quudhsato, adiga uun baa waxquudhsashadaada xambaaran doona.
13 The woman of folly is noisy: she is simple, and knoweth not what [to do].
Naagta nacasadda ahu waa qaylo badan tahay, Iyadu way garaaddaran tahay, oo waxba ma taqaan.
14 And she sitteth at the door of her house, upon a chair in the high places of the town.
Waayo, waxay fadhiisataa illinka gurigeeda, Oo kursi bay ku fadhiisataa meelaha sarsare ee magaalada,
15 To call the wayfarers who go straight forward on their paths.
Inay u yeedho kuwa jidka maraya, Iyagoo jidadkooda iska sii soconaya,
16 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither; and as for him that is void of sense, she saith to him,
Ku alla kii garaaddaranu halkan ha u soo leexdo, Oo kii waxgarasho u baahanna waxay ku leedahay,
17 “Stolen waters are sweet, and bread of secrecy is pleasant.”
Biyo la soo xaday way macaan yihiin. Oo cunto qarsoodi loo cunaana wax bay ka farxisaa.
18 But he knoweth not that the departed are there; that in the depths of the nether world are her guests. (Sheol )
Laakiinse isagu garan maayo in kuwii dhintay ay halkaas joogaan, Iyo in martideedii ay She'ool guntiisa ku jiraan. (Sheol )
