Proverbs 31
1 The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy with which his mother instructed him.
၁လေမွေလ မင်းကြီး ၏ မယ်တော် သည်သား ကို ဆုံးမ သွန်သင်သော တရား စကား ဟူမူကား၊
2 What [hast thou done], O my son: and what, O son of my body? and what, O son of my vows?
၂ငါ့ သား အဘယ် သို့နည်း။ ငါ ဘွား သောသား ၊ အဘယ် သို့နည်း။ ငါ့ ၏သစ္စာ ဂတိနှင့်ဆိုင်သောသား အဘယ် သို့နည်းဟု မေးမြန်းသော်၊
3 Give not unto women thy vigor, nor thy ways to those that ruin kings.
၃သင် ၏အစွမ်း သတ္တိကို မိန်းမ တို့အား မ ပေး နှင့်။ ရှင်ဘုရင် တို့ကိုဖျက်ဆီး တတ်သောအရာ၌ သင့် ၏အကျင့် အကြံ အပြုအမူတို့ကို မအပ်နှင့်။
4 Not for kings, O Lemoel, not for kings [it is fitting] to drink wine, nor for princes, strong drink:
၄အိုလေမွေလ ၊ စပျစ်ရည် သောက် သောအမှုနှင့် သေရည် သောက်သောအမှုသည် ရှင်ဘုရင် ၊ မင်းသား တို့နှင့် မ တော်မသင့်။
5 Lest either might drink, and forget what is written in the law, and pervert the cause of all the afflicted.
၅သူတို့သည်သောက် လျက် တရား တော်ကို မေ့လျော့ ၍ ၊ ဆင်းရဲသား အမှုကို မတရားသဖြင့် စီရင် ဆုံးဖြတ်မည်ဟု စိုးရိမ်စရာရှိ၏။
6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those who have an embittered soul.
၆ဆုံး လုသောသူအား သေရည် သေရက်ကို၎င်း၊ စိတ်ညစ် သောသူအား စပျစ်ရည် ကို၎င်း ၊ ပေး လော့။
7 Let such a one drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his trouble no more.
၇ထိုသူတို့သည် သောက် ၍ မိမိ ဒုက္ခ ဆင်းရဲကို မ အောက်မေ့ ဘဲ မေ့လျော့ ပါစေ။
8 Open thy mouth for the dumb, for the cause of all fatherless children.
၈ကိုးကွယ် ရာမရှိသော သူ အပေါင်း တို့၏အမှု ကို စောင့်ခြင်းငှါ ၊ စကားအ သောသူတို့ဘက် မှာ နေ၍ပြော လော့။
9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and decide the cause of the poor and needy.
၉စကားပြော လျက်၊ တရား သဖြင့်စီရင် လျက် ၊ ဆင်းရဲ ငတ်မွတ် သောသူတို့၏ အမှုကိုစောင့် လော့။
10 Who can find a virtuous woman: for far above pearls is her value.
၁၀သီလ နှင့်ပြည့်စုံသော မိန်းမ ကိုအဘယ်သူ တွေ့ ရ သနည်း။ ထိုသို့သောမိန်းမ သည် ပတ္တမြား ထက် အဘိုး သာ၍ထိုက်ပေ၏။
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, and he will not see his gain diminish.
၁၁သူ ၏ခင်ပွန်း သည် သူ့ ကို ယုံ ၍ ၊ ဆင်းရဲ ခြင်းနှင့် ကင်းလွတ် လိမ့်မည်။
12 She treateth him well and not ill, all the days of her life.
၁၂ထို မယားသည် မိမိ ခင်ပွန်းအကျိုး ကို မ ဖျက် ၊ တသက်လုံး ပြုစု တတ်၏။
13 She seeketh for wool and flax, and worketh with her willing hands.
၁၃သိုးမွေး နှင့် ဝါ ကို ရှာ ၍ ၊ မိမိ လက် နှင့် အလို အလျောက်လုပ် တတ်၏။
14 She is become like the merchant's ships: from afar doth she bring her food.
၁၄ကုန်သည် သင်္ဘော ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၍ ၊ စားစရာ ကို ဝေး သောအရပ်မှ ဆောင် ခဲ့တတ်၏။
15 And she riseth while it is yet night, and giveth provision to her household, and a task to her maidens.
၁၅မိုဃ်း မလင်းမှီထ လျက် ၊ အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားတို့အား စားစရာ ကို၎င်း ၊ ကျွန်မ တို့အား အငန်း အတာကို၎င်း ပေး ဝေတတ်၏။
16 She thinketh of a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
၁၆ကောင်းမွန်စွာ ဆင်ခြင် ၍၊ လယ်ကွက် ကိုဝယ် ယူ တတ်၏။ ကိုယ်တိုင် လုပ်၍ရသောငွေနှင့် စပျစ် ဥယျာဉ်ကို ပြုစု တတ်၏။
17 She girdeth with strength her loins, and giveth vigor to her arms.
၁၇မိမိ ခါး ကို ခွန်အား နှင့် စည်း ၍ ၊ မိမိ လက် တို့ကိုသန်မြန် စေတတ်၏။
18 She perceiveth that her profit is good: [therefore] her lamp goeth not out by night.
၁၈မိမိ လုပ် သောဥစ္စာကောင်း သည်ကို ရိပ်မိ ၍၊ သူ ၏မီးခွက် သည် တညလုံး မ သေ တတ်။
19 She stretcheth out her hands to the spindle, and her palms hold fast the distaff.
၁၉ချည်ဖြစ်တတ်သော တန်ဆာတို့ကို ကိုယ် လက် နှင့် ကိုင် ၍ လုပ်ဆောင်တတ်၏။
20 She spreadeth out wide her open palm to the poor: yea, her hands she stretcheth forth to the needy.
၂၀ဆင်းရဲ သောသူတို့အား လက် ကိုဖြန့် ၍ ၊ ငတ်မွတ် သောသူတို့အား လက်ရုံး ကိုဆန့် တတ်၏။
21 She hath no fear for her household of the snow: for all her household are clothed in scarlet.
၂၁မိုဃ်းပွင့် ကျသော်လည်း ၊ မိမိ အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားတို့ အတွက် မ စိုးရိမ်။ အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားအပေါင်း တို့သည် ကတ္တီပါနီ ကို ဝတ် ကြ၏။
22 Tapestry-covering she maketh for herself: of linen and purple is her attire.
၂၂ကိုယ် အဖို့ စောင် တို့ကို ရက် ၍၊ ပိတ်ချော နှင့် မောင်း သောအထည် ကို ဝတ်တတ်၏။
23 Well known is in the gates her husband, when he sitteth with the elders of the land.
၂၃သူ ၏ခင်ပွန်း သည်လည်း မြို့တံခါး တို့၌ ပြည် သားအသက်ကြီး သူတို့နှင့် ထိုင် ၍ ၊ ထင်ရှား သောသူဖြစ် ရ၏။
24 Fine tunics she maketh, and selleth them, and girdles she furnisheth unto the merchant.
၂၄ချော သောအထည်အလိပ်ကို ရက် ၍ ရောင်း တတ် ၏။ ခါးစည်း တို့ကိုလည်း ကုန်သည် ၌ ချ တတ်၏။
25 Strength and dignity are her clothing: and she smileth at the coming of the last day.
၂၅သူ လုပ်သောအထည် အလိပ်သည် ခိုင်ခံ့ ၍ ၊ လှ သောအဆင်းနှင့် ပြည့်စုံသဖြင့် ၊ သူသည်နောင် ကာလ ၌ ဝမ်းမြောက် လိမ့်မည်။
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom, and the law of kindness is on her tongue.
၂၆ပညာ စကားကို ပြော တတ်၍ ၊ မေတ္တာ တရား အားဖြင့် နှုတ်မြွတ် တတ်၏။
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and the bread of idleness she doth not eat.
၂၇အိမ်သူ အိမ်သား ပြုမူ သမျှတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှု တတ် ၏။ ပျင်းရိ ခြင်းအစာ ကို မ စား တတ်၊
28 Her children rise up, and call her blessed; her husband, also, and he praiseth her:
၂၈သူ ၏သားသမီး တို့သည်ထ ၍ ၊ အမိ ကို ကောင်းကြီး ပေးတတ်ကြ၏။ သူ ၏ခင်ပွန်း ကလည်း၊
29 “Many daughters have done virtuously; but thou excellest them all.”
၂၉လူမျိုးသမီး အများ တို့သည် ကောင်းမွန် စွာ ပြု ကြ ပြီ။ သို့ရာတွင် ၊ သင် သည် ထိုသူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို လွန်ကဲ ပြီ ဟု သူ့ကို ချီးမွမ်း တတ်၏။
30 False is grace, and vain is beauty: a woman only that feareth the Lord shall indeed be praised.
၃၀ယဉ်ကျေး သောအရာသည် လှည့်စား ခြင်းနှင့် ယှဉ်တတ်၏။ လှ သောအဆင်းသည်လည်း အချည်းနှီး ဖြစ် ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ သော မိန်းမ မူကား၊ ချီးမွမ်း ခြင်းကိုခံရလိမ့်မည်။
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates.
၃၁ထိုသို့သော မိန်းမ ကျင့် ရာ အကျိုး ကို ပေး လော့။ သူ ပြု သောအမှုသည် မြို့တံခါး တို့၌ သူ ၏အသရေ ကို ထင်ရှားစေသတည်း။
