< Proverbs 24 >

1 Be thou not envious of bad men, and do not long to be with them.
Dad shar leh ha ka masayrin, Hana jeclaysan inaad iyaga la joogtid.
2 For their heart meditateth destruction, and of mischief do their lips speak.
Waayo, qalbigoodu wuxuu ka fikiraa kharribaad, Oo bushimahooduna waxay ku hadlaan belaayo.
3 Through wisdom is a house built; and through understanding is it firmly established;
Guri wuxuu ku dhismaa xigmad, Wuxuuna ku taagnaadaa waxgarasho,
4 And through knowledge are chambers filled with all manner of precious and pleasant wealth.
Qawladuhuna aqoontay kaga buuxsamaan Maal kasta oo qaali ah oo qurux badan.
5 A wise man is [always] in power; and a man of knowledge fortifieth [his] strength.
Ninkii caqli lahu xoog buu leeyahay, Oo ninkii aqoon lahuna itaal buu sii korodhsadaa.
6 For by wise counsel canst thou conduct thy war; and there is help in a multitude of counsellors.
Waayo, waa inaad talo wanaagsan ku dagaallantaa, Oo waxaa taliyayaal badan la jirta nabadgelyo.
7 Wisdom is too high for a fool: in the gate can he not open his mouth.
Xigmaddu nacaska way ka dheer tahay, Isagu xagga iridda afkiisa kuma kala qaado.
8 Him that deviseth to do evil, men call a master of wicked devices.
Kii ku fikira inuu xumaan sameeyo, Waxaa loogu yeedhi doonaa belaayo-sameeye.
9 The counsel of folly is sin; and an abomination to men is the scorner.
Fikirka nacasnimadu waa dembi, Kii wax quudhsadaana waa u karaahiyo dadka.
10 If thou despond on the day of distress, thy strength is small.
Maalinta dhibaatada haddaad liicdid, Itaalkaagu waa yar yahay.
11 Deliver those that are taken unto death, and those that are moved away to the slaughter hold back.
Samatabbixi kuwa dhimashada loo wadayo, Kuwa ku dhow in la gowracona dib uga qabo.
12 If thou shouldst say, Behold, we know not this man: lo, he that weigheth hearts will truly regard it, and he that keepeth thy soul will surely know it; and he will give a recompense to man according to his doing.
Haddaad tidhaahdid, Bal eeg, waxan ma aannu garanayn, Kan qalbiyada miisaamaa miyaanu ka fiirsanayn? Oo kan naftaada dhawraa miyaanu ogayn? Oo miyaanu isagu nin walba ugu abaalgudayn sida shuqulkiisu yahay?
13 Eat honey, my son, because it is good; and the fine honey, which is sweet to thy palate:
Wiilkaygiiyow, malab cun, waayo, wuu wanaagsan yahay, Oo waxaad cuntaa awlallada malabka, taas oo kuu dhadhan macaan.
14 So obtain the knowledge of wisdom for thy soul: when thou hast found her, then shall there be a [happy] future, and thy hope shall not be cut off.
Oo xigmadda aqoonteeduna sidaasoo kalay naftaada u ahaan doontaa, Oo haddaad iyada heshid waxaa jiri doona abaalgud, Oo rajadaaduna ma go'i doonto.
15 Lie not in wait, O wicked man! against the dwelling of the righteous; waste not his resting-place;
Sida nin shar leh, ha u gabban kan xaqa ah gurigiisa, Oo rugtiisa nasashadana ha kharribin.
16 For though the righteous were to fall seven times, he will rise up again; but the wicked shall stumble into misfortune.
Waayo, nin xaq ahu toddoba goor buu dhacaa, wuuna soo sara kacaa haddana, Laakiinse kuwa sharka leh waxaa lagu afgembiyaa belaayo.
17 At the fall of thy enemy do not rejoice; and at his stumbling let not thy heart be glad:
Ha rayrayn markuu cadowgaagu dhaco, Oo qalbigaaguna yaanu farxin markuu turunturoodo,
18 Lest the Lord see it and it be displeasing in his eyes, and he turn away from him his wrath.
Waayo, waaba intaas oo Rabbigu taas arkaa, oo ay shar la ahaato indhihiisa, Oo uu dabadeedna cadhadiisa ka soo celiyaa isaga.
19 Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, neither be thou envious of the wicked;
Xumaanfalayaasha aawadood ha isku dhibin, Kuwa sharka lehna ha ka masayrin,
20 For there will be no [happy] future for the bad man: the lamp of the wicked will be quenched.
Waayo, kii shar leh abaalgud ma heli doono, Oo laambadda xumaanfalayaashana waa la bakhtiin doonaa.
21 My son, fear the Lord and the king: with those that are desirous to change do not mingle thyself;
Wiilkaygiiyow, Rabbiga iyo boqorkaba ka cabso, Oo ha ku darsamin kuwa isrogrog badan,
22 For suddenly will their calamity arise; and who knoweth the ruin of both of them!
Waayo, belaayadoodu si degdeg ah ayay u soo kici doontaa, Oo bal yaa yaqaan baabbi'inta labadoodaba?
23 These things also are for the wise. To have respect of persons in judgment is not good.
Oo weliba waxyaalahanuna waa wixii ay kuwa caqliga lahaa yidhaahdeen. In dadka garsooridda loogu kala eexdaa ma wanaagsana.
24 Him that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous, will the people denounce, him will nations hold accursed;
Kii kan shar leh ku yidhaahda, Xaq baad tahay, Dadyowga ayaa habaari doona, oo quruumuhuna way karhi doonaan isaga,
25 But to those that punish delight shall be given, and upon them shall come the blessing of the good.
Laakiinse kuwii isaga canaantaa farxad bay yeelan doonaan, Oo dushoodana waxaa ku soo degi doonta barako wanaagsan.
26 Men will kiss the lips of him that giveth a proper answer.
Kii jawaab qumman ku jawaabaa Bushimuhuu dhunkadaa.
27 Prepare without thy work, and make it fit in the field for thyself: and afterward build thy house.
Shuqulkaaga dibadda ku hagaajiso, Oo beerta ku diyaarso, Oo dabadeedna gurigaaga dhiso.
28 Be not without cause a witness against thy neighbor; for wouldst thou beguile with thy lips?
Deriskaaga sababla'aan markhaati ha ku furin, Oo bushimahaagana ha ku khiyaanayn.
29 Say not, As he hath done to me so will I do to him: I will recompense every man according to his doing.
Hana odhan, Wixii uu igu sameeyey oo kale ayaan ku samayn doonaa, Oo ninkii sidii shuqulkiisu ahaa ayaan u abaalmarin doonaa.
30 By the field of a slothful man I once passed along, and by the vineyard of a man void of sense:
Waxaan ag maray ninka caajiska ah beertiisa, Iyo ninka garaadka daran beercanabkiisa,
31 And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, nettles had covered its surface, and its stone-wall was broken down.
Oo bal eeg, kulligood waxaa ka baxay qodxan, Oo dhammaantoodna waxaa qariyey maraboob, Oo derbigoodii dhagaxa ahaana waa dumay.
32 And when I had indeed beheld [this] I took it to my heart: I saw it, and received a warning.
Markaasaan eegay oo aad uga fiirsaday, Waan fiiriyey oo wax ka bartay.
33 “A little [more] sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands in lying down;”
Weliba in yar baad seexanaysaa, oo in yar baad gam'aysaa, Oo in yar baad gacmaha hurdo u laabaysaa,
34 But then will thy poverty come like a rover; and thy wants as a man armed with a shield.
Haddaba caydhnimo waa kuu iman doontaa sida tuug oo kale, Oo baahina sida nin hub sita oo kale.
